888Sport Sign Up Offer

  • Hi,

I am yet to join 888 and they seem to have a decent sign up offer and I want to get in on that goals means more.

The sign up offer is that your first bet up to £10 win will treble the return, e.g. £10 @ 10/1 returns £100 x 3 = £300. Pretty decent, my question is has anyone had any experience with laying this off? There must be potential to make a decent amount from this offer if you find high enough odds. ‘Maximum additional winnings of £5000 will be applied per eligible member.’

    T&Cs are here: https://www.888sport.com/online-sports-betting-promotions/welcome-offer.htm#t&cs

I’d be interested to hear everyone’s thoughts.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Cant remember what i did but anyway my bet lost and they gave me 2 x £10 free bets anyway to compensate. I honestly wouldnt worry about it just get involved ive made a decent ammount from the goals mean more games. Plus if ones on a saturday and you bet £10 in play on it as well you get another free £5.

Nice, I may just take a punt on it in that case.

Just had a quick look for you. If you pick a horse @ 7.0 and its lay is 8.0 laying £23.81 on it with smarkets would give you a profit of £30 if it won or £11 if it lost so may be worth looking into if you want to guarantee a bit of profit. Letting it run of course would give a tempting £180 profit.

That sounds a good option thanks Pickle!

    I’ll give you an example.
    I see Stoke v Liverpool 1:0 now at back/lay odds(smarkets) 9/9.6.
So if you bet £10 at 9 and win you will get 9*£10 plus additional (9-1)*£10*2 which adds up to £250. You get treble of the fractional odds of 8/1 so 24/1 or 25.0 in decimal.

Now put 25 as back odds and 9.6 as lay odds with a stake of £10 into your qualifying bet calculator and you can see you can get guaranteed profit of £15.54 with a lay stake of £26.10.

Or you can fully underlay at £10.20 lay stake for a profit of £152.28 if the bet wins. Obviously its only 1 in 9 chance (according to bookie and exchange).

You might find a better match closer to the game.

Take what’s going from 888 before they shut you down. They’re in the Boyleports Coral Appollos mode.

Looking at my records, it seems that I got similar profit out of the 888 sign up offer to those that dekoder is talking about above…

    Faroe v Romania £10 1-1 @13 (@40 with x3 applied)
    £29.74 @13.5
    Profit £18.25

I really should get in on this goals means more promo too, keep hearing people raving about that one

Tony….DEFINITELY get on the goals means more promo! Example: Everton v Leicester was £18 in free bets for me, obviously doesn’t happen as nice as that all the time but definitely worth doing for a small qualifying loss.
