90 Minutes?

  • Would like to confirm about qualifier bet strategy if bookers stated 90 minutes bet which means I might risk my money if anything happened after 90 minutes from my exchange platform, is that correct?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

When a bookmaker states ’90 minutes’, it basically means that it excludes any potential periods of extra-time and penalties.

Most football matches are played over 90 minutes, but some cup matches go to extra-time if the match is level after 90 minutes.

Let’s say, for example, you bet on Scotland to beat Serbia tonight in the 90 minutes market…

They are level 1-1 after 90 minutes and go on to win 2-1 after extra-time. Even though Scotland have won the match and progressed, your bet would have lost as the match was 1-1 after 90 minutes.

You just need to check that the bookmaker and exchange markets are both 90 minutes markets, which is usually the case.

Thank you Matt! I might have to avoid any 90 minutes match betting, could be a trouble when comes to a loss both sides at the end…

The main markets are usually 90 minute markets anyway, so you really shouldn’t have any issues.
