Advice needed

  • Hi guys,

I have recently started match betting. I started with the free bet offers and things were going really well. This week I decided to try a deposit offer. It was £50 matched with a £50 bonus. So I took it. The terms state that it has to be rolled over 7 times at odds greater than 1.5.

I also thought I would try this with a different company that offered such a promotion at the same time which was also deposit £50 get £50 bonus.

I had a fair bit of cash in my exchange account so thought I would be ok. I made a big mistake though. I placed a couple £100 bets on each account and they both won. Now I have no money in my exchange and a few hundred pounds in each betting account. I am still miles away from the roll over requirements on both. I now realise I should have read forums about this sort of thing first.

The first company has a time limit of 14 days from starting the bonus. Leaving me with 9 days to reach the rollover of £700. The second had a 60 day limit so its not so bad.

I probably have enough money to restock the exchange but am worried if I do so I may fall slightly short of the rollover requirement. Worse yet I may make it and then get ”suspected” of abusing the offer and lose the money in the account along with what I have lost in the exchange.

I’m unsure if I should push through, Take a hit on what I have put in now. Or try something else like Dutching between the two accounts.

I’m really annoyed with myself so any advice would be so welcome. Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

that is unfortunate. you really only have two options open to you, dutch or refill your exchange. another problem is that there is not much football to bet on at the moment, and bookies start gubbed and limiting when you start on the horses.

one idea could be to look at each bookies rules on tennis, if they are the same you could dutch through between them. lots of tennis around at the moment and you should get some ok odds matches. Don’t forget you need a different formula to work out the stakes for each bet, don’t use a matched betting calculator!

    good luck
