Aiming to always win on the betting exchange?
-
Hi guys,
I have seen this mentioned before but I just thought that I would get everybody’s view on this. If I was to aim to always win on the betting exchanges by placing my bets at high odds. Would this work? Would this help prevent my bookie accounts being potentially gubbed? This would mean I wouldn’t needing to withdraw from the bookie as often?
What are your views on this?
Thanks

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

In a ideal world this would happen every time (though there are occasions when winning at the bookie is preferable to get extra winning bonuses) but if we could predict the future then we’d just lay everything anyway and make even more money.
Forget trying to do this and just take the best value odds you can and go for the best odds matches you can find. Everyone on here who’s been matched betting for a while can tell you about how they’ve backed a ‘winner’ at the bookie at ridiculous odds – and if you’re extracting money from a freebet this is arguably worse for your account. You only need one big winner then all of a sudden your bookie balance is sky high and your exchange balance is depleted.
+0I second cosmos on this. Best value odds all the way. Money flows back and fourth I wouldn’t overthink it. If you’re worried about getting gubbed (which imo is eventually inevitable), get plenty of mug bets on (obviously lay them off too).
