  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Thanks for the Betway tip Tony.

I did post one offer I found but nobody was interested. It had the word greyhound in it so I think everyone ran for the hills.

I don’t usually find new offers that aren’t already on here or picked up on the blog. The only ones I seem to see are the increasingly random ones where you have to bet on crap markets and then something has to happen to trigger a refund or free bet.

Example of this is the latest one I’ve seen which was an email I got from 10bet for the England match today. Bet £10 pre-match on Goalscorer, HT/FT or Exact Score on today’s World Cup qualifier at Wembley and if your bet looses but a free kick is scored, you’ll get a Free Bet.

Or from Muggybets for the England match, Place a £10 bet on the market with the widest possible odds we could find and if your bet doesn’t win but there’s a penalty in the match where the ball bounces off the goalpost into the crowd and gets caught by a man named Dave, then we’ll give you a free bet.

Although I may have made that last one up. But you get my drift.

I don’t do any ‘if’ bets, can’t be arsed.Mind you I did put £50 on Portugal last night as I got 1.3/1.29 or something on Hills so that was a free shot at their MM4 offer or whatever they call it.Nearly won it but needed one more goal ?
2nd place by a head or less? Forget it lol
Acca’s are my bag nowadays and any price boosts bet X get X jobs.

Yes I’m finding that ppl have advanced from the smaller offers and aren’t so interested in the new offers posts – like small boosts that you can guarantee £1 or bet £5 get £5.

And then you have the ppl that are gubbed so aren’t following a lot of bookies for offers.

Same, even took me 2 days to be assed to reply to this!
Half the time I’m not even doing the offers either let alone not posting. I read what’s going on here and look out for the better offers, but generally focus on accas/easy reasonable wins then remembering to extract freebets. If by some chance I have extracted all freebets when a race meeting is on I’ll look for Eway arbs

We probably need some useful new ppl to kick-start the new offers again. There’s no range of newbies, they either don’t know the first thing about sport but feel entitled to money or go to the other extreme and think they are ready to make thousands off Eway arbing after they successfully did a welcome offer

betman is right there are unfortunately very few people as skilled as me to do this and yet everyone thinks they are intitled. I’ll continue to post offers when I can like I just have now but I’m afraid I have become focused on number 1 recently…a dog has gotta eat

As someone who is intending on retiring from matched betting (at least for six or so months) soon, yeah I can’t be bothered with the Bet 10 Get 5 free offers anymore, I’m looking to boost my profits as much and as quickly as possible. The only methods that offer that are High 5 and ew arbing and it’s hard to post up tips when the markets move so fast. I also keep £100 profit aside for straight up gambling on horses, doing my own thing.

what would be the best way to take advantage of the High 5 offer? to simply match the one with highest odds and hope for the best or is there a more clever way?

Big stakes on odds on favourites has generally worked for me but I also look at form etc and reduce stake accordingly. For example, had the winner in the first race at Newbury on Saturday, £50 at 11/1 got me the full £100 free bet.

Otherwise just go for the horse with the closest back and lay odds.

I actually find the forum is too slow for me. Like I think ‘oh I’ll post this’ but the forum runs so slowly that to post something takes too much time!

Not a massive lot of offers around atm either really post-Cheltenham. Plus I’m gubbed by most.
