Anyway to access bookies/exchanges from countries that block them?

  • As you know, exchange and bookmaker’s websites are blocked in some countries (such as Spain). Is there a way to circumvent this?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Its not being blocked that’s the issue – you can use VPN’s to bypass this.

Its not having a registered address in one of the allowed countries that’s the issue.

James, do you mean that I need to have a registered address in Spain if I wish to have access to British bookmakers sites, when I already have an account with that said bookmaker and a registered address in UK?

    Hi,

Not sure about Spain but here in Germany there has only been one betting exchange for ages (Matchbook) and now they stopped accepting new customers.

One way to get around this is using a Broker. That’s what the Matched Betting website here, Doppel Wetten is suggesting.

Maybe that could work for you to?

You can use a VPN, although I’d recommend using a paid for service (generally it’s inexpensive anyway, I paid 20 GBP for a year).

Also some of the well known and more commonly used VPNs could be picked up on by some of the bookmakers, so it’s more risk using these since the bookmaker could wait until you have a sizable balance in your account and when you attempt to withdraw, they declare their misuse of terms with you.

I do matched betting from Cambodia and I haven’t had any issues as yet, but the VPN does slow down the connection to the UK rather significantly!
