Best way to approach €2/£2 free bets?

  • Hi, I’ve just started matched betting last month, made a decent bit so far. I was just wondering about offers I’ve opted into with bookies such as coral and betstars that give you a 2 euro free bet per goal scored on your outright bet/top goalscorer bet.

The minimum lay option on betfair is €2, so obviously it’s near impossible to find lay odds that would require you to lay at least €2 pre game after placing your back bet of €2.

So how do you go about this? I’m thinking opting odds going down in play and laying if so. Just not guaranteed of course to extract anything out of my free bet with this method.

Any suggestions or methods to guarentee an extraction of these 2 euro free bets? Doesn’t seem like much I know, but it all adds up of course.

    Thanks.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I don’t think there’s a minimum amount to lay at smarkets, try there.

Will check that out. Thanks. I’ve honestly been putting off using smarkets for my lay bets, prefer to keep my float in one place at betfair. But I suppose this will be what has me finally sign up, also might as well with my betfair free bets that I’m assuming would be dodgy laying against on the same site to extract profit from the free bets.

I’m just punting all of these £2 free bets. Aiming for odds of roughly 12/1 each time.
