Bet 365 £200 offer.

  • Hi all. I’ve had a search for something similar in the forums but can’t ind anything.

I’ve started the £200 deposit offer and so far I’ve used all of the bonus to make a profit (one race still to run) but one of the races won and money went back into the Bonus account. I thought at the time that all I had to do was carry on betting and losing or reach the required amount of £1200 to withdraw bonus money/profits so placed another £50 to start the ball rolling ( I won £175 on my bonus bet) and have since got the money down to £75. It was at this point of looking at the balance that I asked myself the question, if this money is my bonus account do I still place bets as qualifying bets or free bets. If it is free bets, that means there’s more profit. Is that right? Or do I need to just keep betting as a qualifying bet?

Thanks in advance for advice. This new world of matched betting has been truly eye opening.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

you place all your bets in bet365 as qualifying bets ( stake returned ) as the bonus they give you should be treated as cash.
If you have placed any bets as free bets ( stake not returned ) you will have ate into your overall profits , so you will have made less profit not more.

Just use the ‘Qualifying bet’ setting on the calculator mate. Whatever the loss is for each matched bet you place, that’s how much you’ve eaten into your bonus on that particular bet.

Thanks Xeno and Matt. I can’t believe how idiotic I’ve been. I’ve been that hung up on understanding the different ways of doing things I’ve forgot to look at the basics. I’ve probably lost about £20 in total but it’s been a worthy lesson. I actually thought I’d made good headway to understanding it, which I have but then I found the forums and it opened my a bit! Really informative helpful.

    Thanks again.

don’t worry too much, bet 365 are an excellent bookie with lots of offers so you will make that lost money back pretty quickly. don’t forget there is a mobile £50 bonus once you have completed this rollover.
Just take it as a lesson learned and be thankful that this happened on this bookie instead of someone like winner!

i know little about racing beyond this site, so having set up my smarket ac with £100 i proceeded to start with the qualifing and free bes on ladbrooks, coral and finaly betsafe. all losers and my smarkets ac was looking very healthy. as my confidence in matched betting grew i thought bet365 next as it offered upto £200 bonus so i went for it. i expected it to take 2 or 3 days to diminish the ac to zero and boost my smarket to the sky, lol. however things did not go as planed- i kept winning the bets, not all of course but enough to keep my ac at 365 growing whilst reducing my smarkets to the point where i put in a futher £600 to keep going. finaly yesterday i hit the £1200 of setteled bets necessary to withdraw the balance, £1400, and i still have a risk free bet with them today.
the question is do i withdraw the the balance, or is it worth keeping say £100- £200 in there so i may be inticed to use them with futher free bets etc in future, bearing in mind they are £1000 down on my account are they likely to offer any more.
i will need to take out some as my smarket ac is very low and will need topping up before i can go to my next bookie.

I would take it all out, they will probably send you a £10 risk free offer in the next couple of days to get you betting again.
