Bet 365 Matched Betting (after mistake)

Hi,

I opened a Bet365 account and deposited £200 and received the £200 bonus. Unfortunately before I read about match betting I have been betting as normal and some of my decisions may mean match betting won’t work for me on this occasion. See what you think:

Deposit: £200
Bonus: £200
Total balance: £400

I then made some bets and annoyingly (rookie error) some large bets did not qualify towards activating the bonus. Therefore here is my current situation:

Balance: £298.64 (Withdrawable: £98.64; Bonus: £200)
To use your bonus you will need to stake a further £176.00
To withdraw your bonus further settled stakes of £1,192.00 are required.

If we used some assumed odds is it possible to still make a profit? My calculations say a small one but would appreciate a more experienced eye as I’ve never done it before. I have to admit I get a bit confused with regards to when I am betting with the bonus.

just back and lay as normal at the minimum odds required. there is no need to calculate as a free bet because it is bonus cash rather than SNR (Stake not returned).
if you lose the money will transfer to your exchange and the rollover requirement will be over and if you win you just keep betting until you either lose or the rollover is complete.

I too am inexperienced, and have also taking on the £200 deposit. I just figured while I had the money to be able lay off on I might as well give it a go. Now I’m sat here with a £200 bonus sat in my account and I’m unsure of the best way to tackle it. As I understand it, I keep matched betting as I would for a qualifying bet but in order to get the £200 bonus I have to lose £1200 from my Bet365 account. Would I be right in thinking this?
Apologies for hijacking the thread but it’s the closest thing I’ve found on the forum to my predicament. And kind of the similar problem.

@matwest904q You simply need to wager £1,200 – Simple back/lay at the closest odds (qualifier bets). If of course you ‘lose’ your bet365 balance – £400 (deposit and bonus amount) into your exchange then you will be done quicker!

You get plenty of time to use the bonus, As long as you have a decent exchange float i found the best way to do it was to combine the bonus with the channel 4 race offer. That way if you do end up hitting winners, you will only increase your profits.
