Bet Alchemist – Cash in on Cheltenham Festival 2017

  • Just a quick one guys for those of you who don’t follow the main blog…

    I’ve just written a review of a horse racing tipster service called Bet Alchemist, which I’ve been following now for over 14 months…

    https://matchedbettingblog.com/bet-alchemist-review/

    I realise it won’t appeal to some, but for those of you who are interested in topping up your Cheltenham profits, Bet Alchemist is definitely worth a look.

    It’s the perfect time to get involved ahead of the Cheltenham and Aintree festivals, so for more info, feel free to check out my post on the homepage!

  • New to matched betting?

    My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    The results do seem to speak for themselves.

    However, surely now with the added publicity, it’s going to be very obvious to bookies when they suddenly get a flurry of bets on a particular horse – surely will lead to pretty instant stake restrictions?

    Or would you use the exchange instead?

    I always suspect most of these guys make most of their money by sending out the tips after backing the horse on the exchange then laying when the odds start to drop.

    They’d probably make more money giving away the tips for free.

    Good point @bbobb – I guess with that we could do the same thing – as soon as they send the tips out, back on the exchange, wait for the price to fall with everyone backing it, then lay off at the lower price for a profit.

    I don’t know much about horses and reckon I could tip some with the same success as that. And I would say that our twitter friend has some good tips too to highlight horses on good value.

    The problem is how long does the price maintain its value after they tip. Once ppl jump on the horse the bookie price will shorten and won’t be value any more.

    At least with the price wise tips some bookie guarantee the price for a certain time. But with this surely after a few hundred ppl jump on the tip the bookie price shortens. So they can claim 10 points profit or whatever, but have all their members been able to get it?

    @bobster With the volume of bets that goes down on the big races, I don’t think that’s an issue. I’ve not experienced any stake restrictions so far.

    @Fog_BLoG
    The email usually comes out the night before and I often don’t get round to putting the bets on until the following morning. Occasionally the odds will have dropped slightly but sometimes the odds have fluctuated in my favour. On the whole though, I can usually get on at the advised price no problem. Oddschecker is fantastic for comparing odds across all of the bookies.

    Is this for matched betting or just punting?

    Those kinda tips are available freely on twitter tbh… there’s a million and one tipsters giving decent returns for no charge…

    It might be for some, but those kind of profits can easily be achieved by just lumping on favourites

    @sleepless It’s not for matched betting mate, it’s value betting, so betting on horses at odds that are greater than their realistic chance of winning.

    @tony-s
    I’ve trialled a few free tipsters recently and made losses. This is a professional service with a proven track record. Entitled to your opinion though mate.

    Just a quick update guys…

    13.5 points profit on Day 1 courtesy of wins for Un Temps Pour Tout (16/1) and Tully East (12/1)! That’s £135.00 profit to £10.00 stakes.

    I’ve updated the post on the main page with the full results.

    Great start on a hard day to pick winners imo!

    What are his picks for tomorrow (or is it rude of me to ask?)

    16-1 and 12-1?

    I backed the first one early in the day and it wasn’t at that price.

    What were his other tips?

    It was worth a try mate, but you know I can’t divulge such information!
