Bet365 4/1+ Weds 3rd Feb

  • 15:20 Ludlow / 18:10 Kempton. Both have favs at 4/1+. In the 18:10 I got Dutiful Son (jfav) at 5 and 5.4 (Smarkets). Worth a pop.

Yes, Chirs.t, good spot. I’ve just overlayed on 5.0. Break even if he doesn’t win, or I lose £4.08 if he does win, and then have a £50 risk free bet to extract £40+ from.

If others are quick, you can now buy him at 5, and sell him at 4.8!!!

FogBlog – Corals also haver him at 5.0, if you want to do a bit of mugbetting with the likelihood of losing some cash into your exchange.

Just read the bio on the horses in the 15:20 Ludlow they all sound like misfits hence the odds, picking a winner out of those is a lottery lol

Thanks Pavlon for the thought. Missed it though 4.5 on coral now and can lay at 5.3 on smarkets.

Do people put both of their bet365 bets on at the same time? I.e. people above on about backing and laying dutiful son in the 2nd race, I was under the impression from reading the terms you wouldn’t be eligible for the offer unless you placed your bet on the 2nd race after the result of the first. I.e. you wouldn’t know if your bet was risk free until then.

Or are those who have backed dutiful son not bothering with the first race?

I wouldn’t bother with most races, at 4/1 + your chances of winning a free bet are by definition pretty small – so need to get a very tight lay on the exchange to make it value.

Cheers, I got on this last night at 5.0 and 5.0 for Dutiful Son. An 80p loss for a £50 free bet if the favourite wins! Brilliant

@mark yes I agree with you. I wouldn’t place a bet on the second if I was planning on doing the first race. I think if your horse won it would mean that for the second race, what was meant to be your qualifying bet would now a risk free bet.

Getting identical back and lay odds on these offers for a favourite at 5.0 is very rare I would say though, and definitely worth doing and forgetting about the first race IMO

Well that was annoying. Looked nailed on to win, then lost by half a length.

Fortunately I broke even on that.

Thanks for that guys, just thought if I could get away with putting all of my channel 4 races on together it would be a big time saver! Clearly I can’t :p
