As Matt explains, there are 2 ways to do this offer, each has it’s pros and cons – take a read and if you still have questions then I am sure they can be answered here :)

The easiest way to do it is to put your pre-match bet on Arsenal and then your in-play bet on Arsenal and then hope Arsenal win. :)

In terms of simplicity yes, just throwing your bet on is…in terms of matched betting, that would not be the best way!

Then again would be a very nice profit if Arsenal won at their odds…granted if you find close back and lay odds for your £50 qualifier a say £1.50 loss for a potential £200 profit (assumed 4/1 Arsenal odds) is quite nice..I will be banking the £40 or so.

You thought I was serious? Actually I’m doing the easy dutch, but I’m tempted to do it so that Arsenal winning gets me £110 and the other results get me £15. Decisions, decisions!

draw is currently 4.2/4.2 for a 0.76p qualifying loss.

first time I’ve not dutched it, hope the in play odds are decent at 365

Even if the inplay offs are awful im pretty confident you should still get around £30 which would only be the same as dutching method anyway

With Barcelona bang in form, does anybody see the merits in backing under 3.5 first-half Goals pre-match and over 3.5 first half goals in-play? I’ve seen comments from Matt saying attempting to guarantee profit is an easy way to get restricted. But this contrasts with the hundreds of posts on mug-betting facebook groups where they all advocate doing this and have never been restricted. I fancy Barcelona to be 3-1 up by half-time. I just have a feeling we are about to witness one of the great European performances. Doing the bet this way is a risk-free shot at 800 quid. We all going for the guaranteed profit or anyone think this could be a good shout?

If this was a one-off game or a final I would agree but this is just the first leg – there is no need for Barca to be 3-1 up at half time. Would think they would be happy just not to be losing at HT.

I am not saying you are wrong as obviously there is a chance it may happen. Betting ultimately is all about opinions. I am happy to bank the £30 on offer

    Good luck with your bet.

Sounds like Wenger will look to keep it tight early on and has said the priority is to stop them. I agree if Barca score early it could be a hammering but I think it will start off slowly so backing, say, under 1.5 with the risk free bet and waiting a few mins before laying could be effective

The draw odds have shortened quite a bit since yesterday (down from 4.2 to 3.8) for those who are dutching.
To still get a decent profit may be worth laying additionally against the draw (for example based on yesterdays odds of Arsenal 5, Barca 1.7) to still come out with ~ £33 if you should back and lay an additional £7.50 on the draw otherwise at current odds if the match ends as a draw you’ll only extract £13 if you just bet the risk free £50

If Dutching then you should wait until 10 mins before KO to place the pre match bet – the odds on these ties jump around a lot between Matt putting the blog post up and the game starting

They will probably only really ‘settle’ once the team sheets are released an hour before KO

I used to Dutch these offers, but to be honest the Match Bet route is FAR simpler (i.e. you can place your qualifying bet ANY time) and you then have the whole match to find a suitable in play bet.
