• This has been going all weekend but I’ve only just noticed it.

  Quite a good offer, if you backed £400 on Man Utd (current odds 1.36) and lay £400 on Smarkets (current lay 1.38), you’ll lose £8. Lay £8 on the draw (current lay 5.5). Options are then:-

  Man Utd win: win £144 at the bookie, lose £144 at smarket (£8 – £152) = Break even.
  Draw: lose £400 at the bookie, win £356 at smarket (£392 – £36 + a tiny commission saving) = £44 loss but a £100 free bet
  Everton win: Lose £400 at the bookie, win £399.84 at smarkets = 16p loss but a £100 free bet.

  Obviously if you can get a tighter match it’s even better.
