Betfair – Correct Score Boost – Restriction

Matt and others,

I put two scoreline bets on yesterday with Betfair Sportbook. My Spurs pick didn’t come up but I did multiple backflips after landing Watford 0-1 Leicester. However, my free bets were not paid out this morning and I’ve been on to query them on it.

I’ve just received the following response:

“please note that as per terms and condition of the offer you were referring to, only the first bet placed on this market will be qualifying bet. In your case it was the Tottenham vs Arsenal which was a lose bet.”

They are effectively saying that you can only make one pick under this offer per week.

I’ve challenged them on this but not holding me breath. Has anyone managed to get a winner paid out with the free bets after a loss on an earlier fixture?

sounds like bull, i won the city lpool game last weekend and that was the second game, unless they changed it this week

Woah that’s ridiculous! The terms and conditions say “first cash bet on the market will be the qualifying bet”.
Surely ‘the market’ refers to each match and not all matches over a weekend?? So many qualifying losses have just been money down the drain if this is the case!

I did both games and i got the free bets for the Leicester game, so it’s a load of bull. I received the free bets about hour after the game.

Good job albatross. Was it live chat that told you that you weren’t eligible at first? I find bet fairs live chat agents are the worst trained of the lot. Very rarely have a clue what’s going on. I know their offers better than they do.

I think it was a Polish granny that I got on live chat the first time and it was the same person I got the email from about an hour later. Second person I got was a lot better. I hate complaining, and drawing attention to my account activity, but for 65 free ones I wasn’t going to let it go.

Managed to get Betstars to cough up the midweek In-Play fiver as well, although it took a couple of days.

Don’t want to keep scrapping with them but it’s hard to let an injustice pass.

Yeah some of the chat advisors are luck of the draw. Sometimes when I’m not getting anywhere I just close and start again.

I had one of these win @6.5 after 10-15 losses and I got my account restricted so make hay while the sun shines lads
