New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Wow! Just laid £10 on 1-1 and boom they score. Thank god for that
+0Well no 1-1 least my paddy power underlay Ibra to score wins!
+0ok i cant take it any more! i’m out at 1-2, laid off £15 for some guaranteed profit
i figure if theres no more goals i get £90 in free bets, if chelsea score 1 the betsttars offer comes in and if its 1-3 i have a quid on it at skybet.
+0Nice one Dbb always nice when one of these comes in very nice profit!
+0I like that nearly every night that someone on here seems to win on this!
I had three wins in one week and now nothing for a long time.
+0Three wins in one week? Damn how did you even manage to back and lay off all those £10s of free bets?
They are only available for like 48 hrs as well, which can be annoying.+0LJH its annoying but not difficult I put all my 8 x £10 free bets on a horse in the 6:40 kempton race just keep clicking place £10 free bet re open bet slip next £10 free bet repeat….unless you were under the impression they had to be used on different events, then you would be mistaken.

Yes its a bit annoying that they hand them out in 10s.
+0I struggled to find decent odds in horse racing on BF sportsbook so didn’t really use them on horses. They do however have very good football in-play odds and I was able to get 90% plus out of those free bets.
The downside is of course you can’t really put more than 2 free bets on at once as the odds are constantly changing in-play.+0Dortmund v Spurs – Thurs 18:00
Liverpool v Man Utd – Thurs 20:05
+0Cheers for the reminder had a feeling it would be on tonight, need to remember to do the early one soon as I get home!
+0I figured after 28 pages of discussion this offer must be worth investing in. I just wanted to check 2 things that I haven’t been able to find in the early pages of this topic:
When you are guaranteeing profit at half time (if it is a draw), you are laying the score you bet for in BF, correct? So that if the match doesn’t finish on that score you win money, and if it does you lose your liability but win free bets?
Are you all placing your qualifying bets and lays as Matt suggests? Or are you overlaying (stake/0.98)? Seems sensible to just take the steady qualifying loss, but correct me if I’m wrong.
Thanks guys
+0You would be stupid not to do this offer imo would love to know how much I have made from it! Well some people if their score is still on at half time like to either cover their qualifying loss and then wait it out..some people wait till 60th 70th min and hope the odds shorten etc all just depends, but you are right you can either guarantee a profit which if the score came in youd have a higher liability but free bets but if it doesn’t your lay wins.
Regarding overlaying the score you can only do this with 0-0 as with 0-0 the game has to be a draw at half time. If you overlaid say a 1-0 but it wasn’t a draw at half time you would not get the free bets and therefore you would have an even bigger qualifying loss.+0There is two strategies on this I think, in my opinion:
1. Qualifying loss.
Just find a scoreline with as low a qualifying loss as possible and a reasonable chance of happening. Back and Lay for a qualifying loss.
2. Pick 0-0
0-0 guarantees you your double odds (by guaranteeing it will be a draw at half time) if it wins so you can overlay this scoreline to make no qualifying loss at all. Of course to overlay you are giving away some of your free bets but will still be in profit if you win.
Either way you chose then if your correct scoreline comes in after being level at half time then you are in a nice profit – so if at half time or close to full time your score is the current or likely score and the lay is next to nothing then you can lay it off for cheap to take a guaranteed profit. So yes you are laying your scoreline on smarkets (I wouldn’t lay these on betfair!).
+0Cheers guys, that was very helpful. I will go with Matt’s selections for now and see about doing 0-0 if the odds are favourable in future matches.
