Worth checking email for. Betfair exchange to match any profit on bets settled today 100% – in my case up to £50. £200 on Douvan at 1.27/1.28 guarantees about £35 when overlaid. Terms below.

Can I take part?

You can only take part if you have been invited to participate directly by Betfair.

You can take part only through one account, and using only the username mentioned in your message.
What do I need to do?

You need to place Exchange bets on ANY SPORT(s) taking place before 22:00 GMT on 15/03/2017 (the promotional period).

Your bets must be on the Exchange, and bets must be settled by 22:30 GMT on 15/03/2017.

Fixed Odds and Multiples bets do not count for the purposes of this promotion. Bets must be matched and settled to count.

What’s the offer?

If you place your bets as set out above, and you make a net profit across your qualifying bets in the promotional period, we will credit you with a bonus of 100% of that net profit, up to a maximum of the amount mentioned in your message.

If you make a net loss on your qualifying bets, you won’t be eligible for a bonus.
When will I be credited?

If you are eligible for a bonus, your Betfair account will be credited by 23:59 GMT on 15/03/2017.

Hi Lewi6079 I also received this email but mines is for £100. But I can’t work out how to do this to make a profit regardless?
Looking at your figures you say you will make £35. So on that basis in theory I could make £75? But I have to overlay.
Can you or anyone help,thanks

E.g.
Using figures above Bet £400 on Douvan @ 1.27 (exchange not sportsbook). Lay £479 on Douvan (Smarkets). Liability = £134.

If bet wins = £103 (profit) – £134 (liability) + £100 (from betfair top-up) = £69

If bet loses = £479 x 0.98 (Smarkets return less comm.) – £400 (betfair loss) = £69

Exact amounts depend on the odds and how you want to weight it. You’ll want to check these figures yourself obviously! You can use the advanced calc on this site.

Also,

make sure before you do this that you don’t have any other bets on at the exchange as these will affect your profits!

I got £50, I can use betfair exchange to lay off other bets and still qualify for the 100% bonus? Or is it just backing on the exchange?

Well, if you have other back/lay bets at the exchange then this will affect the amount of profit you have made/lost today. Just have at look at your account – unless you’ve had winners today you may already be some way towards the target.

I was using smarkets for the 1.30, using betfair to lay off the 4.10 and 5.30 races.

Also,

As Douvan lost I’m now £200 down at the BF exchange for the day (but up by £35 at Sm). In order to make the £50 profit I need to make £250 on the next bet. Bets must be settled by 10.30pm.

So, Champions League game for another £30 or so?

Funnily enough I lost 1.7k on the exchange on day 1 and got offered money back as my losses 50% to £50 so felt I was in a bit of a win win today. If I lost again £50 up at the end and if I won then exchange is topped up. Anyway ended up around £800 up on exchange. Sounds annoying though as sounds like you have all had the opposite offers!

Couldn’t hit the refund, 4.10 won with the bookies, so placed a big bet on Atletico to win to recover the losses and get the £50, it finished 0.0 grrrr

Got another offer for Thursday, but 25% refund of £50, horses only.
