Betfair Exchange racing offer

  • Just wondering whether anyone has dabbled with this – the back a horse at 4.0 or higher and get your money back if it goes odds on in play then loses?

I’ve always left this alone on the basis that it was unlikely to be profitable based on frequency of it occurring, one you factor in the slightly higher lay odds and commission. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this?

Also, any issue with qualifying if you’re gubbed on SB?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I qualified for 2 refunds from Windsor today but have only received one. Anyone else missing refunds?

Not done this for a few days but they are sometimes late with the refund. Certainly one way past the 2 hours.

Which 2 out of interest westmatch? Wondering if I might be missing one too, haven’t followed it today but had 1 come in so far.

If there are non runners after you bet your odds get adjusted and if they go below 4 it doesn’t count towards the offer.

Wasn’t as issue for me. Not concerned yet, had plenty turn up the next day. Even though they say 2 hours.

how are you all monitoring which horses go odds-on in-play? Is there some way of doing it without watching the odds during the race?

Would like to know if this is possible to? Cant find anywhere that records it.

Not that i’m aware of. Usually follow a couple inplay. Otherwise just wait and see if any refunds turn up!

You can hazard a guess by final placings, distances and comments on sporting life but trust and account history is the only definitive way I know of

I’ve had a couple that I watched and never even saw them go under 2.0 but got the refund – thought they probably had though – when you look at the market activity straight after the race you can see if any trades happened at less than 2.0 which would only happen in play I think, with a horse at 4.0 plus to start with… – don’t know if there is a way to see historic market activity though once the race is off the main site …. 🙂
