My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

So tricky to get this one right. In-play odds are extremely volatile as are the lay odds and it doesnt help that Betfred constantly freeze the markets.

Wish there was an easy way to play it.

I’ve been caught by what you’ve described during the french open.
Perhaps back and lay in the breaks every odd amount of games, and have discipline in doing that i guess.

I’ve also lost out on this before. Greed and volatility a bad mix.

Wait until change of ends, or end of a set, and you can get a half decent match

I managed one qual profit and 2 small losses for -£1.50, so should make £20 off the offer.

Thats the way to play it nate but Betfred keep suspending the market between games and sometimes during them too.

I actually managed an arb on Karlovic, £6 qualifying profit (really helps if you can watch the games). Also done the same with Kyle Edmund, layed him at 8.2 and just waiting for back odds to hit 9.0.

So yeah, its really tricky, when it works it works well but you can also lose out too.

@Chris I got the same arb on Karlovic – £6 profit. Annoying because if we had waited a few minutes more, we could have been £13 profit (but I never like to take any risk on these in-play bets, get in and get out quickly!)

    2 more to find now.

wow a stressful hour there!! all 3 on for +£1.59, does the FB need to be placed in-play too? this link was useful https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live-guide can watch the game then albeit with a little delay which was a shame.

Dodged a massive bullet here too. I layed Lukas Rasol at 4.6 for a £117 liability and he went two sets up, back odds were 1.3 at some point. Lucky for me Querry has stormed back so I was able to back at 5.5. Phew.

So yeah, I have my £25 free bet tomorrow, £9 qualifying gains but sooooo lucky.

@mbbinkman – normally Betfred free bets can be used on anything despite the promo headline saying “the next day’s matches”

When they did the same promo on the French open I used all of mine on horse racing for higher extraction

Haha might give it another bash.
Free bets are in from yesterday btw, and although they may say you can only use it on Wimbledon, I successfully used the whole £25 free bet on the 16:00 Hamilton race, small arb of 6/5.6 :)

Yeah used mine on the racing too, had to split across two horses as Betfred dont seem to want to risk the liability on my free bets anymore.
