found this not too difficult today after a bit of stress yesterday.
If you look at the odds on bet fred before the games start and pick odds as low as possible but not below 1.5. Then quickly check smarkets odds give a decent QL. Then as soon as the match starts place your bet on betfred and slip over to smarkets and you can get decent odds matched early on in the first set.

I play it the opposite way clive albeit riskier.

Bet on the opponent of an odds on favourite who doesn’t have long odds (I stick to 5.0 or below), lay him/her off first at smarkets for a theoretical qualifying gain i.e 6/5.5 then hope the favourite takes the first set or breaks early. Back odds will rise quite sharply. Could and does go the other way though I know.

Got stung on this, first two bets a loss of 18p and 50p, third bet is a nightmare, had to bet on Tomic as the lay odds on Verdasco have gone up. Going to be loss on this, but still will be up after getting the free £25 bet.

I select somebody who is a favourite. Wait for the beginning of the service game to back on BF, then lay at the end of the service game. Odds would normally shortened on the SM to below the BF odds. Risky admittedly, as they could lose their service game, but as the odds are normally short, they would never drift out that much even if the favourite does losing his serving game (not happened when I’ve done this though). Hope this is on tomorrow.

Just bet on a match that had a 12.35 start time but has yet to start but is in the inplay section, anyone know if it counts?

I did bet similar at the French Open on a match that had not started, it counted as it was showing as inplay. Don’t hold me to this though, I think I did the same yesterday when the rain came down.

for some reason decimals don’t work in play on Betfred, I find it hard to know what the equivalent is in fractions?

Click on the player and on the right in the bet box, the decimal odds show up. Bit of a pain, probably done on purpose by Betfred.
