Pickle when I said I do over 2.5 goals…..I don’t wait? as that’s just a gamble? I do it that way as sometimes I don’t like waiting till half time so I can place them all whilst the game is live and inplay and if a goal goes in great the lay odds shoot right down and profit, if a goal doesn’t go in whilst i’m backing and laying no harm done. If you placed a £25 bet on over 2.5 and just sat there waiting hoping for a goal? then clearly that is not a very good method!

Honestly Ryan the prices started flying up especially in the Fenerbahce game. I put it on @ 2.37 and by the time i got it up on smarkets it had gone to 3. That was at about 5 minutes into the game. Still a profit though just not as much as id have liked.

Perhaps Smarkets didn’t have much liquidity 2.37 to 3 within the short space of backing and laying seems very unrealistic unless like I said there was no liquidity? Very strange….well I never had a problem at all god knows why the odds would change that much so quick guess you just got unlucky.

I think my problem was i placed the 3 bets then went on smarkets and laid them. Thought doing it that way there was a small gap too hopefully get a goal. Fener were the third game so prob 2 mins max between putting them on and laying. Still ill be able to get £8+ profit from the free bet so im not concerned. Ill stick to doing it at half time in future i suppose though. Im more worried about this superlenny free bet. I can sense problems but hopefully not.

Well that’s where the problem was I just lay straight away to be honest…as there is no risk of a goal going in when you usually lay inplay as that would actually benefit you…still wouldn’t have thought lay would change within 2 mins but ah well. With the superlenny bet I think ill just punt it depending on their inplay markets.

Betfred wankers. No free bet for me. Turns out that i’m no longer eligible for any promotions. They didn’t tell me in advance, otherwise I wouldn’t have done the offer. Only made a £2.10 qualifying loss, so if my strongly worded yet eloquent email doesn’t do the trick its no major issue. Bloody annoying though!
