It wasn’t worth doing this, big mistake. The odds were not released until 3 minutes before the race started, it was SP until then. 3 minutes isn’t long to find close odds to back and lay, only 2 out 3 done 🙁 Got a free bet to cover the loss.

How did you manage to get a free bet if you only did 2 out of 3?

I managed to back all 3 races, but didn’t manage to lay all 3. The odds were released at 3.50 for the 2nd race that I did, exchange shot up from 4.00 to 6.00 in a matter of seconds, but the time I worked out the liability the race has started, bets suspended and the bloody dog lost the race!!!

I had no problems doing it, even made a 50p profit on the qualifiers. Best to only do it on the favourite, as most of the other dogs can be almost double the price on the exchange.

The problem was Betfred didn’t release their prices until 3 minutes before the off and the favourite when I backed would then go up on the exchange. I’ll give this offer a miss if its the same next time.

I did the full £25 last night and got the free bet today. I’m not doing the offer again today unless the odds are showing at least 10 to 15 minutes before the start of each race on Betfred.

All bookies price every market based on what betfair are doing these days, so given the betfair market on dogs doesn’t even form properly until a few minutes before the off then I am afraid you are out of luck.

When I did this promotion about a month ago, the odds were up on Betfred 20 minutes before each race.

I disagree farang you can take half a point higher on the exchange n still only make a £3 qualy loss per race.worst case scenario 5 mins work for £10-20 profit
