I was hoping for a pool win. Yes, it would have been nice for a couple of my acca’s;)

Just felt like Plymouth sat back and defended asking “show us what you can do”. And the answer was not very much. I think the attitude should have been “we are seasoned pro’s, we will show *you* what *we* can do!”. They could have won comfortably.

There really is a high standard the whole way through the premier league and through the championship and all the way down. It’s not like Klopp’s Germany where the 4th level is reserve and regional teams.

    I think Klopp misread it.

The list of 6 players is not a full stat, just the list the wiki mentions.

Anyway I can’t tell the future and Ojo and co may prove themselves but I wouldn’t be surprised to see any of them struggle to find a place in a lower league team. Some of the Plymouth team had youth history at teams like Man Utd and Celtic.

I begrudgingly put Chelsea in my accas ahead Liverpool anticipating something like this.
I don’t doubt some of them will fail. Stewart is a championship player, but has done enough in these type games to deserve chance to prove he’s more than that. I think they’re all better than Plymouth standard, and Plymouth approached it right to get a replay first and foremost.
I think he’ll field a similar team down there, so if you think Plymouth are stronger then there will be some value…. especially if you time it right with ppl trying to lay off their laddies freebies!

That team should have beaten Plymouth and the game stats back that up, think Liverpool had 70-75% possession and more than 20 shots to Plymouths 3.

Klopp fielded a side that he felt could and would beat them, I dont think the price on the Liverpool win was short at all. Plymouth did a job on them and inflicted the worst possible result for Liverpool, a draw.

Was annoying for me as I punted this treble and the other two teams won so Liverpool let it down. Lost some money on the crappy Irish racing too so a day to forget. Still well, well up for the week at least.

Well Plymouth conceded possession to Liverpool I think that’s the point.

If they went out and competed with them the names on the Liverpool team sheet were not overwhelming at all for Plymouth.

I think they missed a trick.

Anyway we will see what the replay brings.

Nah perfect result for Plymouth, a club desperate for cash will have a sell out replay at their own ground. Football league is a far cry from the stupid money being banded about in the Premier League.
