I’ve managed to end up close to £200 down on this, hit hat on Tuesday and decided to not risk winning after that.

Matchedem, if I was you, I’d throw a couple of £200 bets down if you can – max refund for any individual bet is £50, so if you can lose 2 x £200 you’ll get something out of it.

What’s the QL going to be on those though with the fact there is only one race meet. Also Im limited to around 100 quid wins on mcclean, thanks for the idea though

Cheers. I managed to get on an two even shots the other day for a loss of under £2. They can be pretty tardy at cutting their odds but like you say, might be tough with only one meeting. Although there might just be one lonesome trader sitting in the office on his own a day like today. Worth a look anyway?

I’ve been watching the odds there this morning looking for close ones for free bet.

Anyway the odds aren’t that bad. You should get cheap enough QL, look at November Tale in the 17:30 at 2.0 at the moment on mclean and shortening. He is very tight 2.06 on the exchange. I dont think that is close enough for you to guarantee a profit off £200 bet but imagine there will be some shift much closer to the race and some opportunity. Or you could back him now gambling on the exchange odds to continue shortening.

I’m a whole £40 down, might whack a few bets at Dundalk tonight but knowing my luck they’ll probably win..

not going to reveal my exact loss as it would easily be matched against my record for any betmclean person viewing this forum

but it is nearer to £1,000 than £0

qualifying loss approx £22, the majority of this was in fact in my final bet as i found a good arb and under laid

Couldn’t get wins or loses above £50. Last race ( Keukenhof) balance went back to £0. Waste of time.

@marv The terms & conditions says that the max they’ll refund from any individual bet is £50 – that’s 25% on £200 so I hope you final bet wasn’t a lot more than that as I think you’ll not get anymore…

But hopefully I’m wrong :)
