BetOnBrazil Liverpool to Qualify

  • Bet On Brazil offering 3/1 via oddschecker on Liverpool to qualify for new accounts, with the enhanced part being paid in free bets. Seems much better than the normal £50 welcome bonus with massive roll over.

I know there is a ‘to qualify’ market on betfair, but Liverpool’s odds of qualifying (1.84) seem to be much higher than to win the match outright (1.52). Am I missing something here? It seems to me if you back Liverpool to qualify, and lay Liverpool to win, the following outcomes can occur:

Liverpool win the match: Back wins, lay loses.
Liverpool draw and it goes to ET/penalties: lay wins, but back might also win.
Southampton win: lay wins, back loses.

Can anyone point out the flaw in my logic? I’m sure there must be one…

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Scratch that. Didn’t realise qualification is based on aggregate score. I really should learn more about football…
