Bets Won, Exchange Emptied – Withdraw or Mug?

  • Hi all,

So I’m on about my 6th and 7th set of welcome offers at the moment.

Across 2 bookies I placed similar bets (I liked the odds offered) on an event and both bets won, thus in the process emptying my existing float on BetFair and transferring all my money in to these 2 bookies (£100+ in one of ’em)

They don’t have rollover requirements before they can be withdrawn.

So should I just withdraw, and arouse suspicion which will start my path towards a gubbing?
Or should I mug bet at the cost of reducing my profit?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    I would just withdraw.

Which bookies are they? Do they have any offers for existing customers?

If they have ongoing offers then leave some (or all) in there so you have funds to take advantage of these offers.

Withdrawing money doesn’t get you gubbed. I have withdrawn €2000+ from one bookie in the last 2 weeks. I don’t know why ppl are so afraid to withdraw. You are going to get yourself tied in knots if you are going to always try and “transfer” your money to your exchange by mug betting. Withdrawing from the bookie is part of the process. Its more likely that your bookie balances grow rather than your exchange balances because the bookie is the one offering the extra value.

You can be sensible and leave a balance in there if you think that you are going to use it, otherwise withdraw, withdraw, withdraw…. In my opinion.

Thanks, Fog_Blog. Infact your advice may have just saved me from losing a free bet profit, as I went to withdraw the money sat in 1 of my accounts and discovered that free bet winnings need to be rolled over before they can be withdrawn *facepalm*
