Win or 2nd I’m laughing. Losing too much value in trying to unwind through the 2tbp markets in my opinion…. although does seem an opportunity to gain value from panic bets if there is a withdrawal and your aren’t knee deep in already

My horse on betvictor was the non-runner but my free bet is already awarded and placed and still showing in open bets. So I think its okay.
I also had Psychocandy on another site, just small stakes but was happy when he came in 2nd, just about held on!
I think beesty reckoned before that you’re not really losing too much value with a non runner, something to do with how the bookie applies the rule 4 to the place price and the quarter odds help out a bit too. Obviously if you have backed and layed everything then its a big risk if your horse comes 3rd unless you can wriggle out somehow.

I was ready to thank you till the damn horse changed to non runner as was trying to lay it.I could have unwound my position to less exposure but seemed less value. In the end of the race I basically had a coin flip on £120 and could gone either way

Yeah there was probably value in letting it run.
I noticed my guy anyway psycho candy I still had an arb on the place even after it switched to 2 to be placed and even after you deduct the rule 4.

I got money on the 8-1 2nd fav at 3.5, and it drifted further than that+0
