Betway Free Bet Club – Is it possible to make money?

  • Hi All,

New to match betting so apologies if this has already been asked.

Betway offer a Free Bet Club.Get £10 in free bets every week when you place £25 on multiples.

Is there a way to back and lay on this offer? Any advice welcome.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yes there are a couple of ways when dealing with multiples.

Betfair and Smarkets both have accumulator markets when you lay against selected teams with just one lay bet. Just type ‘acca‘ into the search bar on Betfair or head to Football > Accumulators on Smarkets. All you need to do is place the corresponding accumulator at Betway and then lay it at the exchange.

Alternatively, you can build a multiple bet with matches that don’t overlap and lay each leg sequentially. You would lay against the first selection and then if that team wins, you would lay against the next selection and so on…

Here’s an example post for you to take a look at…

    Of course it’s possible!
I’d prob consider that offer to have about a €5 cash value on average (not the full value of about €8 which a tenner freebet represents on av- this due to Betway being one of the more cautious firms when it comes to decent odds)
You would need to find a sports treble all playing at times after the other has finished. And the odds on these three ‘games’ were matching up exactly/closely on the exchange- say 3 even money shots. So you do your Betway treble for €25 on the 3 even money shots then lay the €25 on the opposite outcome in the 1st part of treble. If the 1st part of beltway treble loses- sound.. you have a zero loss (maybe 50 cents in commission) and have a €10 freebie worth about €8. If of course the 1st part of treb has won you now have to lay the opposite outcome in game 2 for double original stake-€50. Now if part 2 loses your even – €1.50 in comms and up a €10 fb. Of course if the beltway treble is still rolling on you will have to double up your lay on game 3 to €100. Now if the beltway treble kops your up €175 on beltway- down €175 on exchange- although now commission is eating up the small profit – about €3.50 on Smarkets. Of course if odds are various you will have to calculate how much is required on each sequential lay to balance the books

All in all I’d say it will be a lot of effort to find match ups that are bang on/very close. And a bit of effort making sure you lay the parts of treble off when needed for about a fiver on av. But can’t be sneezed at if you have the time
