Betway Horses – We'll pay you out as a winner if horse leads on jumping the last

  • Just seen this in my emails:

    “Just back any horse in any race from Exeter today or Musselburgh tomorrow, and if it leads going into the last jump, we’ll pay you as a winner – no matter if it wins or loses*.

    Lead At The Last Special: 1) Min. stake: £5 win or £2.50 each way. 2) Max. Stake: £20. 3) Max. Pay out per race: £100. 4) Min qualifying odds: 1/2 (1.5) and higher. 5) Applies to Single, pre-race, Race Winner bets only. 6) One pay out per customer, per race. First bet placed eligible. 7) Real money bets only. 8) Pay outs will be credited within 24 hours of the race ending. 9) Other conditions apply”

    Definitely seems to be worth a shot if you can get a small QL.

    Interesting to see how they decide this if 2 horses are upsides at the last.

    This offer won’t last as well…. if your horse is leading coming to the last all you need to do is bet half your expected winnings on it again for a guaranteed win.

    Well that was almost an incredible start! Picked Dancing Shadow in the 13:00, backed £10 at 11.0/12. He led for the entire race, jumped the last first and then seemed to flag. Unfortunately he had plenty of heart and upped it an extra gear and went onto win.

    Should have backed him coming into the last as you said @bbobb, but excitement got the better of me!
