Betway no free bet

  • This bookmaker is refusing to give me my free bet from the darts promotion after I won. ( lose 1st leg but go on and win the match)
Checked account after 48hrs no free bet so got in touch with online chat only to be told that I am excluded from promos and bonus offers. I told them I was not informed but he said email sent 2 days before I placed my bet. I have checked my emails and junk folder while on chat and no such email. I was then told I would receive the email today but then that will be after the bet / event.
Can I get any help from like an independent or ombudsman with regards to this issue or do I just give up..
    Any help appreciated……

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Betway don’t seem to issue the gubbing email for a few days after gubbing, from my experience.

I don’t think it’s worth the time or hassle chasing up. I wouldn’t have thought you’d get anywhere either. Save your time and move on, I’d say!

Your probably right but if nobody stands up to them they will keep on doing it.
If the shop assistant didn’t give you the buy one get one free offer ( same principal )

Sky don’t even tell you when you get gubbed, to be fair..

Sky and betway both told me. Betway begrudgingly gave me a freebet that I was entitled to as I had qualified prior to the gubbing, but took a fair bit of back and forth

Probably the easiest way to try to get something is to raise a stink on twitter. Bad PR is a good motivator.

They claim to have sent a gubbing email previously whenever anyone asks about a free bet that has not been credited.

My theory is that support staff are told to say this, even to customers who aren’t gubbed (when people are chasing uncredited free bets by live chat).

The reason I say this is because I was told I was gubbed on live chat when they never gave me a free bet yet I was still getting free bets over Cheltenham and Aintree.

If the QL is really small, I give it a go just to check 😉
