Big Pickle (Winner)

  • Hi guys,
I’m new to the forums but have been following the site for a while now.
I am currently in a very sticky situation. On Saturday I joined Winner to use their sports bonus (Depositing £200 to get £200 bonus), the rollover requirements are ridiculous and almost impossible to complete so I was planning on just losing the money in that account to win it in my Smarkets account.
After a lot of bad luck I have now found myself with £1600 in Winner (£1400 of my own money through losing from my Smarkets account since odds were at least 3+) and don’t know what to do, I still have 10 days before the bonus and winnings are scrapped but now I’m scared to continue betting in case I keep funding the Winner account.I don’t care about making any profit now, i just want my money out. I am all out of ideas and would really appreciate somebody’s wisdom?
    Thanks in advance,
    Scott

This is exactly why I haven’t tried this offer. I think the only thing you can do is Bung more money into smarkets and back at the shortest qualifying odds you can find. If you don’t have any more free cash to put in then your in shitty city.

That’s what I’m thinking, but then if that bet ends up winning then I’m just maximizing my losses right? Like I could back and lay £600 on Everton to win tomorrow (Surely they won’t win again??) to take me down to a slightly more manageable £1000. But IF they did that would be £3600 + the extra £1000 in my account so that would be a terrifying £4600 in my account and I can’t think of anything worse.

Sounds unlucky. Look at something different to what you do now as it seems you are good at picking winners! I would look for laying the draw tomorrow but then again these big games always have upsets.

How about some big odds to build up your smarkets again ?

Also horses could be a plan as if you manage to bet on a few the liability a will be lower.

Multiples you can do some doubles that start after one another and lay seperately, these might give you a better chance of losing too

    Here. Pretty horrific !
However does make me want to try and get some way to take £2k off them

Terms and Conditions 1. You must register and open a new player account with Winner Sports and complete the applicable verification process. This Promotion refers to new players only and does not apply to players that already have an existing or previous account with Winner Sports.
    2. Upon the completion of the registration process and the verification of the new player’s account, you must deposit a minimum amount of £30 to receive a 100% bonus (i.e., £30 bonus amount).
    3. You must settle the bets to the value of 8 times your first deposit (which will be capped at £200) and bonus before making a withdrawal.
    4. Bets must contain at least one selection at odds of at least Evens (2.00) and no greater than 10/1 (11.00) in order to count towards any turnover requirements.
    5. You must complete the turnover requirement within 14 days of receiving your bonus in order to be able to withdraw your bonus and/or winnings generated from your deposit and bonus. If the turnover requirements for this offer have not been met within 14 days of receiving the bonus, winnings and bonuses held in your balance (both bonus and cash balance) will be forfeited. If a withdrawal or fund transfer is requested before you complete the turnover requirements of the deposit and bonus, then any winnings from the bets wagered will be forfeited and the offer will no longer be available to you.
    6. At least 50% of your bets towards the turnover requirements must be placed on multiples (bets with more than 1 selection).
    7. The maximum bonus that can be claimed is £200 (i.e., if your first deposit is £200 or more then you will qualify for a bonus of £200).
    8. The maximum bet that can be staked with your first deposit and bonus is £50 per bet, per event.
    9. The maximum amount that can be converted to cash and withdrawn from the total balance (both bonus and cash balance) is £2,000. Any amount that exceeds £2,000 will be forfeited.
    10. Cashed out bets will not qualify towards bonus wagering requirements.
    11. You can only have one active bonus at any one time. To claim another bonus the current active bonus must be completed or closed first.
    12. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other open account offer.
    13. Any single bets placed at odds of less than Evens (2.00) will not count towards any turnover requirement. In multiple bets at least one selection must have odds of Evens (2.00) or greater to count towards any turnover requirement. Bets with odds greater than 10/1 (11.00) will not count towards any turnover requirement.

Any subsequent bets placed on other selections in the same market/fixture combination will not count towards the turnover requirements. This term is applied in conjunction with the other restrictions. As an example, once you have qualified, a bet on Man Utd to beat Liverpool on the Full Time Result market at odds of Evens (2.00) or greater will count towards the turnover requirements, however a subsequent bet placed on Liverpool on the Full Time Result market in the same game either pre-match or In-Play will not count towards the turnover requirements. 15. Only wagers placed in the Sportsbook will count towards bonus requirements. Any winnings that have not occurred from within the Sportsbook will be forfeited.
    16. Bets placed on Asian Handicap and Goal Line markets, both pre-match and In-Play will not count towards the turnover requirement stated in these terms and conditions.

I know it sounds easy but you really do need to start losing. You can’t risk winning anymore than 2k as you’ll lose at smarkets and according to those terms you won’t get paid out the extra. I really do feel sorry for you those terms are a bloody disgrace.

Read a post about their offer in one of fb groups I am following and someone said exactly the same thing. Ridiculous requirements that will just make you loose all the money. And that bit about multiplies is insane. Straight way to end up with nothing. I think that is the only offer that I will “forget” to do. Feel sorry for you buddy and hope you will find a solution.

Have a look at the last 4 days results on the all weather. Only 4 favs have won and one of them was a co fav so that may be something to consider. There next 10 could all win though I suppose so no guarantee but may be worth looking at.

As I have said countless times on other posts this is the worst offer for this reason, I too had this mistake I was too much of a rookie (not saying you are) and jumped straight in. Ended up with £1800 in Winner and nothing left to lay I was basically FUCKED. The rollover meaning 50% need to be on multiples so thats £1600 you need to have bet on multiples, its a bloody nightmare! I’m not sure what to suggest as my way out of this was pure luck…and I still lost about £500 of my own money…since then its been a big learning curve for me! I’d say its too far to count your losses as losing £1,400 is a big hit but it could end up being worse. The fact that completing the rollover is very difficult laying off multiples…but its the only way to go seeing as sticking at high odds eventually youll get a winner probably!

I would look to bet on the horses if I were u. With football betting u have 3 outcomes if doing the standard match betting and are more than likely to hit a few wins whatever the odds. Look at horse racing with bigger fields and ones where there is a odds on clear fav and back something else/lay. (Ireland maybe a good place to look as have a lot of big fields and Mullins/Elliott win a lot of the races). It’s not foolproof but hopefully u will find more losers than winners!

Problem with that Daz is yes you will have more losers but eventually youll probably get a 10/1 horse winning who knows and then theres a whack back out of the exchange..no easy way to do this especially as if you complete rollerover somehow as youll have to do £1600 of multiples you can only withdraw a max of £1000 regardless of the balance in the account

Depending on how much you can afford to lose have another crack at reducing the amount. However you have to draw a line and accept the loss if it fails. Netbet and Winner are two bookies I didn’t bother with due to requirements. It looks like a case of damage limitation here.

I say we all send Winner some shit in the post lads.

yep I agree Ryan, having to rollover that much is going to take a lot bets and its inevitable that u will get a winner somewhere along the line, Its just coming up with something that will provide more losers and a chance to reduce the amount as much as possible!

Really appreciate all the help guys, I’ve been looking into the terms and conditions and found its a £2000 maximum withdrawal now (I also thought it was £1000) so maybe the only way out now is to try and complete it, I’m 25% through the wagering requirements so technically I have another 25% on singles to hopefully lose some bets, but then with the multiples – with at least one selection at evens or greater – how the hell do i lay them?
Its annoying because its not like I haven’ been matching properly etc. I’ve just had an awful steak of luck (or bad luck..)
