Blacklisted?

  • Wondering if this has happened or is it even possible to happen?

Opened up an account on Betway a month ago. Couldn’t even log in as I was blocked from the get go. ‘Restricted account before I’d even deposited anything’
Then I opened up a Unibet account last week and the exact same thing happened. I used the same set up info.
Is there anyway they communicate to each other and just know when someone is matched betting?
Any advice on how to go around this or once its done, its done.

    Thanks

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Is it possible that the details you are registering with have been used before, either by yourself or someone else living in the same household?

The same username as other accounts with other bookmakers, but the first time I’ve ever signed up with these respective bookmakers. I’ve never opened an account with them and neither has anyone in my household.

    That’s strange then Julien.

Hopefully they’re isolated cases and it doesn’t happen again for you.

Possibly the new regulations where they need id before depositing money. Im guessing go onto live chat and you will need your documents verified before being able to deposit

You won’t be blacklisted, I’ve had that restriction notification recently logging into Unibet, Dafabet and Mansion bet, it coincided with the new regulations where you need to be verified, just sending them a pic of passport and a letter showing address usually sorts it.
