Bookies charge a percentage on winning bets?

  I started matched betting a few weeks ago. I’ve been using Betfair to lay my bets and surprisingly all my bets on Betfair won and I got the expected profit, until now.

  I won a back bet at Betway and realised they charged me a 5% commission, which incur on a decrease of my expected profit.

  I didn’t know they charge a commission. I’ve been carefully reading the terms and conditions but didn’t encounter anything regarding commission and therefore assumed the bookie charged no commission.

  Where can I find the info about bookies’ commission rates?
