New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I’d done 11 bets and they told me I’d get £5…. although just turned laptop off without saving the transcript so maybe not!!
They also pulled the 3-1 Monday offer.
I did ask the lovely lady on livechat to pass on my thoughts to the marketing team. Well kind of, kept using Christmas Carol scrooge analogy rather than the expletives I was tempter of use.
+0It’s blatant false advertising if this is true. If they’re gonna pull a promo, they would surely need to notify anyone who has thus far entered into it that it’s no longer running. I’ve placed 43 bets so far and I’m tempted to get to the 100 and threaten with Advertising Standards as well as the Gambling Commission if they don’t credit the free bet.
How long did it take to get through on live chat? Been waiting 10 mins so far…
+0What do you recommend saying on the live chat?
+0That’s bloody annoying. I’ve placed about 20 bets already. i suppose in their T+C they put they can withdraw it any time and don’t have to honor it. Surely they should have notified everyone anyway that they’ve withdrawn it?
+0I didn’t hang around on the live chat. But I did send a very strong worded email focussing on the false advertising angle. What they did is misleading and that is illegal. @sebyd101 I have asked why I wasn’t notified if it is the case that the offer has been pulled and have threatened to take it further.
I’ve placed almost 50 bets so I would be eligible for a £35 free bet already according to the email they sent only yesterday. I’m up £6 from this so if they offer me a decent enough free bet, I’ll be happy enough I suppose. Nowhere near as good as a juicy £100 one though!
+0I haven’t read their t+c but i suppose they can do anything they want. It’s just a PR disaster. I am going to post a strongly worded tweet on their page, worked in the past with other bookies with getting my free bets!
+0I’ve totalled up to 32 bets so far, would it be worth to do 3 more bets and then go to live chat and see if they will still give me the £35 free bet?

At the very least everyone should follow Bwin’s complaint procedure as below. They will have to manage the hassle. Also tweet or facebook or use any social media to highlight this scam.

+0Ok no abuse for me please!!! I can not take responsibility for what I am telling you but it is factual and I dont time waste .I am only trying to help. I have just spoken directly to the customer help desk in Gibralter. What follows is a summary of an email I insisted they send me after my conversation and answering my concerns.
1. They will only be honouring the Promo to clients who received it via email to their unique user name.
2. The promo has been withdrawn as of 11.59 tonight. (Gibraltar time by the way GMT +1)
3. Free bets will be issued on 01/01/17 on the number of bets placed up until that time. I was on 46 so needed 4 more to reach the next level.
4. Level of bets will be monitored on my account so I will only be placing 4 more to reach the next level. In summary they basically said if I take the pxxx they will not honour a massive last minute rush to get to a 100 bets.
I know it’s a joke but in my case and I stress only my case I think this is a fair response.
I hope this helps at least some of you good luck.+0But they’ve already said they’ll honour bets up until it was withdrawn regardless of the email.
So it’s not factual, it’s proof they contract themselves but we already know that!+0I need to place 8 bets to bet to 35 but am struggling with what to place in play. Any advice?
+0So they will honour the promo for those who received the email?
+0Well after a mad scramble i got upto 35! All but 2 were laid off, which have won at bookies. Overall about £3.5 down from laying off, so fingers crossed i can get the £35 bet off them.
+0Interesting, do you think bets need to be placed and settled before midnight or just placed? Did 50 bets in totla but 19 don’t settle before tonight. Any advice?
