Cartmel 15:55 BetMcClean and e/w price

  • Bet McClean has this race as money back 2nd to SP. Its the perfect race, one odds on favourite (4/9) and one okay horse (15/8) and 4 donkeys (50/1).

So back and lay the okay horse for a very good chance to hit the money back.

Also would keep on eye on the e/w odds. The terms are 1/4 for 1,2. It seems very unlikely that Mixboy and BattleRange won’t be 1 and 2. Might get a good arb there…

couple of questions matey. How is the site as I’ve never used them before?

Also do you see the 210/320 races as opportunities too as they have low priced favourites.

Odds seem poor at the moment….hoping they improve plus they do offer best odds guarnateed

Not sure about the site to be honest. I am a customer for 2 weeks.

They are not a fly by night crowd though, they are real bookmakers, I think the biggest in High Street bookie in N. Ireland. So I trust them.

They have been quite professional on the live chat as well the couple of times.

Yes, I would say the other races are okay shots as well. I don’t really like the 2nd to SP offer as most races its just too hard to get it.

A good way to check is look at the effective odds and compare to a straight forecast.

For example B365 are giving odds of 1.63 on Mixboy/Battle Range straight forecast. You can back and lay Battle Range for £2.47 for a £25 free bet (value ~= £20) if 2nd to Mixboy, so the effective odds are 20/2.47 = 8.0 which I think you will agree are good odds compared with 1.63 for the same result on Bet365 and gives long term value.

Be careful though of the T&C’s, make sure your country is eligible and there is no refund if less than 6 horses run… Also be careful if the favourite switches. Best wait to near the off to place these bets.

The forecast bet on the 210 pays about 8.42.
The forecast bet on the 320 pays about 4.25.

So both look okay. Not as likely to have a free bet as the 355, but if you keep qualifying loss to £1 or £2 then good. Near the off hopefully you can get these at next to nothing QL. Likely to get a small arb on the place part of an e/w bet too to keep down qualifying losses further.

Oh well re second to the fav….barely made it off the start line (imagine how lucky we would be if bookies refunded I doubt it tho in a 2 runner race!!)

Made a fair whack on the arb tho so cheers for the tip off fog

Sorry it didn’t come through. Didn’t watch the race here so I wonder what happened to him?

I got nothing out of the 320 race either.

Here’s hoping I’m not scratching around at 2nd to SP offers for much. Like I say there is not much value in them usually. New football season coming up I guess.
