Anyone do these regularly? Bet365 risk free bet if win. Only 5 runners in 1.25pm kempton today, so increased chance of a winner. I know sky are refunding if the favourite wins also. Thinking of maybe backing Arzal to win on bet365 for £50, then back and lay Ar Mad on sky. And then Hope either Arzal or Vaniteux win to receive the refunds!
Also Willhills paying 2nd place all day as well.

I also do this offer and combine it with the 2nd place as you suggest great earner! I had Vautour yesterday £50 with bet365 as I backed @5 and lay’d 4.8 lost on the line was gutted 🙁 luckily I had him as my bet on William Hill so got a 2nd place refund, but I totally agree well worth it especially with the races today having a small amount of runners!

Well at the moment with Sky if Vaniteux wins we get a £25 free bet…so you want to bet on him with Ladbrokes or William Hill that way if he comes 1st or 2nd we get a £25 free bet and with that field you’d expect it to! But we can also place a bet on Ar Mad with Ladbrokes or William Hill and then best case scenario if Vaniteux wins and Ar Mad comes 2nd we will get two £25 free bets!
So I would be pretty shocked if we didnt get at least one free bet here

Dangerzone thats personal opinion thats not a guarantee is it. I did Ar Mad when it was 4 & 4.2 so I didnt lose much.

I’ve just done LB – Armad 3.75 & 3.9 (-£1.32). What do people think is a reasonable loss for the Qualifying Bet?

I dont like going over £2 but given that there is only 5 runners and a very good chance of hitting a 2nd place runner and given that we have skys offer of if the favourite wins I’d be more inclined to take a bigger loss if need be!

Managed to back desert queen on ladbrokes at 3.10 kempton and it came 2nd so just a 2nd back refund for me today.

I got 3 £25 free bet refunds so can’t complain with that! I told you in the 1:25 you should have done Vaniteux with Ladbrokes/WH so if it finished 1st or 2nd youd profit. Likewise I just had Desert queen at 2nd with William Hill, and also had Sire De Grugy which was also an easy 2nd place. So great day for me!

Looking at this thread it seems like *some* appreciation/knowledge of horse racing is needed to maximise profits on these offers – fair statement?

Maybe Tony but on the day in question and with plenty offers I just took the first and second favourite in the offer races and also got 3 X free bets back.
+0Regarding bet365’s offer: How do I know the “final declarations” have been made? Do I need to watch channel 4 when the race is about to start? Or is the bet list already considered as completed if not stated otherwise?
