Coral giving free bet when you back a 3/1+ winner. I think this is better than the betfair promo.

1. You can back more than one horse per race.
2. It doesn’t matter the sp it seems. If you back him when he is 3/1 and then at sp he shortens to 2/1 then betfair weren’t giving a free bet. Coral I think do?

£10 max free bet, so max bet would be £3 anyway given it was 3/1. So could be alright! The 15:40 has a 5 horse field, could be the one to go for

If you have a bet on a 3/1 winner you will get a freebet equal to your stake upto a maximum of £10.

One example of how it could work.

Bet £10 on abbey angel in the 16:10 at 4.33. You can lay on betfair for 4.6.

If you fill it into the calculator this gives you a 96p loss on your qualifying bet.

If abbey angel wins (10/3 – so let’s say 20% chance) then you get a free bet of £10 which you should be able to extract £8.

So 96p to win £8 if abbey angel wins. It’s okay.

Need to get tight match on exchange and only go for short odds, I won’t be going for anything 4/1 or over.

Laid at average of 4.15. Small loss 74p on both bets.

Hard luck Pickle. I think you have to be quite selective on this one. I didn’t do great either though. I got one free bet out of 6 picks. It’s a bit like the B365 4/1+ offer – some will like it and others won’t.

I don’t think anything over 4/1 will win you back free bets often enough unless you are getting cheap qualifying bets.
