I did this last week for the 1st time.I backed & laid Man City to win (which they did) at odds of 1.5/1.46 so,I made a small profit to start with :) The online £10 free bet should be on your account from 10pm Friday night according to the t&c’s.When I logged on on Saturday morning there was a £15 free bet on my account! Result I thought,Anyway,to trigger the in store £10 free bet the t&c’s say that you have to place a bet of any kind on football 1st.So I placed a bet of £1 in store using my connect card on Sunday lunchtime.Alas,when I checked with the man behind the counter he said no free bet had been added :( .I’m not sure if you have to place a bet in store of a minimum amount to trigger the in store free bet but,I couldn’t see anything in the t&c’s about this?
So,I left it at that for this week as for my £20 qualifying bet I received a £15 free bet altogether.
Today i have done a back/lay on Huddersfield at 1.57/1.65 a QL of £1.12 (best I could find in store using my phone to check Smarkets ha ha),I’ll see how much in free bets I get this week!
I may ring the customer services to check what the exact t&c’s are for triggering the in store free bet before the weekend ithink.+0

I put a £1 bet on in store via connect card but,didn’t get the free bet!+0Always the way with coral. It took me 15 mins once to get a five free bet. Not 1 member of staff knew how to do it so someone came down from the neighbouring shop.
Anyway I then did my Acca with the token and then same problem so she had to go thru customer services who told her to press a button.
It’s never simple with coral!!!

Was livid today – went in shop to place my £20 connect qualifier. Didn’t want to sit there in store comparing odds on my phone (paranoid they notice and put a note on my account) so I thought stuff it I just placed 20 on madrid @ 2.5 (as I already had £50 on dortmund with Stars, so wanted to balance that) I thought oh well it can’t be that much of a big QLoss – got home 3 mins later and BF exchange lay odds were 3.4 (3.0 Coral on-site) £6 Qual Loss!…
Please some advice – is there anywhere to check high-street bookmaker odds before you walk in? I just wouldn’t feel comfortable/safe sitting there browsing an exchange on my phone. Last week I wrote down the lay odds for 3 or 4 teams at home,then I went to a Coral shop to look at the back prices.Man City were 1.46 to lay on Smarkets,In the shop they were 1.50 to back.Obviously I jumped straight on that & laid as soon as I got home a while after.
Today I went into another shop on my way home from work,logged onto Smarkets on my phone and compared odds at the machine that you can use your connect card at to place the bet,I didn’t care who saw me lol.
ps The machines in store that you can use your connect card with to place a bet can be changed from fractional to decimal odds,Result,No need to go to the counter at all!+0
