coral enhanced red card everton vs liverpool

  • coral have enhanced a red card to be shown to 4, currently laying at betfair at 3.9 (might go down)

although the market on betfair is “sending off”, just a question does it work if you BACK “sending off” – no (which is currently at 1.35) on the exchange and back coral’s at 4

if a red card is shown then coral’s win’s and if one isn’t shown then “sending off” – no must be true and the exchange wins? if this is the case then that would be a guaranteed profit of £38.95 which must be wrong, can someone explain why backing “sending off -no” is not the same as laying “sending off – yes”?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

You have two options, both of which once you have BACKED a red card at Coral:

BACK “Sending off – No” at Betfair – effectively Dutching your Coral bet
LAY “Sending off – Yes” at Betfair – effectively Matched Batting your Coral bet

No idea what the odds are at Betfair, so not sure whether this is profitable either way, but I doubt it as these Coral “boosts” rarely are tbh

if you back “No” at 1.35. you only win your stake x1.35. So no you won’t make £38.95. The only good thing about doing this is Betfair are doing x2 points on this for the betfair cash race. so even if you make break even, it’s worth it.

Having checked the Betfair odds, I can confirm that this boost is not profitable no matter which way you tackle it.

jonh, just a quick point, I think you have used a matched betting calculator to come up with £38+
If you want to do as you say and dutch the two outcomes you need a different calc.
