Coral VIP

  • Decided to give this a go in July

    Have managed to exceed over 3,000 points and also deposited over £2,000 to reach the silver limits

    I went to place a sports bet today and out of the blue it said £0 max, i checked the time and wondered if the race had already gone off and being on my phone it could not have been showing right, well i hoped this was the case anyway

    Tried another bet and the same £0, went on to live chat and after probably 10 minutes while the adviser kept looking at the account, finally told me not allowed to bet on sports, the usual they dont give any further information blah blah blah response

    What i cant understand, is while hitting a few free bets at wimbledon and placing a few us open bets but only having one place, three quarters of my points were made up of play on casino, sports bets also increased balance on account too but there was no arbing whatsoever

    I had earlier in the month asked live chat how vip works, but was not told anything, i would also note that ladbrokes is gubbed and restricted so could be linked

    MY QUESTION is, what are peoples experiences of vip, i would assume that to be frank, unless you are a plain gambler losing thousands, then only a fortunate match bettor might get on to vip, if their play on all products has been loss after loss

    Only got to bronze but was staking large ew bets with them and bets just flew through… once vip did a few footy offers and snooker and account restricted in less than 1 week!!

    Jokers mate… give you vip you do some bets and take the account off you… they owed me a £600 free bet from double your winnings upto £1k on football and i never got cos restricted

    Some on oddsmonkey say it is worthwhile getting, but again I think its pure pot luck if a matched bettor sneak in and then stay in

    Not like coral are that good with value free bets anyway, the both teams to score both halves having come all the way down from £100 cash bonus to £50 free bet lol

    Coral are an absolute joke. I didn’t even stake that high or place many bets but the lay restricted me on everything. Speaking to some guys who do the Acca insurance bets and they said even though your gubbed you can still do the Acca insurance. Spoke to support and they said no your banned from everything including accas.
    The guys said you must have rinsed them to be banned from accas and I said no, I hardly touched them.
    Bless their cotton socks.

    Got to bronze like supert did and got a flood full of emails with do this to get that etc etc. When I checked the account it was 2k down. Anyway I decided to play stakes exactly the same way as what i was doing and was not tempted by any of the special offers. Anyway got caught out in the end by doing ew on 2 horses in a 17 runner handicap. Also a couple of wins tipped the account close to profit.

    What annoys me the most with this company are.

    1) when gubbed everything is 0 so u go from a VIP to nothing. Surely there should be somewhere in the middle with this.

    2) if I was 2k down and had a gambling addiction and say wanted to give it up. To be flooded with emails and everything telling me to do this and do that is horrible and could lead to losing thousands. That is clearly what this company want to achieve with this VIP offer.

    the only ever vip i had was with ladbrokes, it was casino vip, never changed my sports offers

    purely down to losses, however the only real offers you got were like deposit £500 get 100 free spins no strings attached, the only thing they ever gave me sports wise once was 2 x £50 free bets at cheltenham, used them then a week later restricted and gubbed, so vip to naff all pretty much

    that being said maybe my casino vip status lasted longer than it should as by then i had stopped playing casino for months

    conversely i used to have incredible play on william hill casino, i once inquired about my turnover with them over a few months period, for which they calculated and told me a 3 month period was £150k, of which one month was nearly £75k, yet i never ever got any bonus, offers or a mention of vip, i even queried it and was told you will be notified if you meet the requirements

    in fact going back many years before that lol, they did once give me cash back on losses, 10% or 20% up to like £200, yet they only started sending me emails about this after i had lost plenty

    those were the days when you are a student lol

    Its crazy how they restrict your sportsbook when you play on casino and lose …. i lost £1400 one night pissed up on Coral on roulette… spins started at £20 then went to like £240 spins… i had a slight addiction to slots too and would lose £200 here or there and played most nights… i have a rule though that if get gubbed from sports betting with 1 firm i refuse to play casino with them… so surely this cant be great for business??
