Could I have done it better

  • Hi I needed to bet £20 to receive a £5 free bet on sky bet – I chose a popular market England v Turkey bet on a draw at 4.0 Layed at 4.4
    Layed at 18.26 liability 62.10
    Leaving me with a -2.10 + a free bet
Just want to keep under the radar – could I have done it better

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

After extraction you get £2 which isn’t great. Your qualifier needs to be quite a bit lower than what you have got.

For a £20 bet look for 50p loss

Ummm you could’ve made it better by betting 4.0 and laying 4.05.

What you just said is a risk free bet. The £20 is not risk free. You won’t get £16 cashback. Where do you get that idea from?

I have no idea what you’ve done or what the offer was, but assuming it was a standard bet £20 get £5 you would have done better by betting on lower odds for the qualifying bet, say 1.8 ish depending on the minimum required, then betting the £5 on something around the 11 mark. on sky its always worth checking their price boosts. they usually have a special for correct score markets which can be laid at smarkets.

the cashback button should never have come into it.

I think I made it more difficult than I needed to – I thought that I could extract like a risk free bet .
    I won’t make much but then I haven’t lost

if you have used £16 in the cashback box you have underlaid by £16, so you really need the draw to be the outcome or you are going to lose £16.

Your post immediately above bears no resemblence to your opening post.
Could I ask what you do for a day job ?
