Do Coral gubb without notification?

  • I placed a 5 fold over the weekend with one team letting me down, I seen elsewhere that Coral have acca insurance but after looking at my account it looks like I don’t apply for it. When I go into offers the only two banners that come up are Best odds on greyhound racing and some jackpot bonus thing that looks like nonsense. If I just go to the site without logging in it’s all there: 2 minute warning NFL, acca insurance etc.
When did it become acceptable for them to do this? I’ve had this issue with one book before, it was around the Euros. I had to e-mail about an offer that wasn’t accounted to me, they hadn’t sent an e-mail informing of non-eligibility for future offers but honoured the previous offer I had enquired about. Banning customers from offers without any previous notice seems like a new tactic being imposed by the likes of Coral.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yes they did it to me and I only found out after I contacted their live chat.

Happy to take bets that they advertise promos but don’t tell you that you don’t qualify…

Coral emailed me about mine. If the acca was this weekend then it’s unlikely they credited it yet.

They are credited within 24 hours so that is definitely not the case, the fact there are no banners in the offers section makes it clear I’ve been gubbed. Coral are a really trigger happy book, they talk about the confidence they have in their football odds but take them up on it a handful of times and you’re gone. It’ll be a real shame when the upper management gets their hands all over Ladbrokes.

Even if your whole selection was 3pm ko or earlier you barely gave it over 24 hrs. Have u contacted them?
Agreed on them being trigger happy mind. And makes me wonder if it’s even worth me managing my Ladbrokes account properly if it will get linked to corals sooner or later

Coral will also restrict your stakes without notification too. Even when gubbed you can still take up their price boosts, but make sure you don’t lay one of them before checking you can get the full £10 or £20 on at Coral first

I’m going by their Ts&Cs that say 24 hrs. I’m not contacting about it because I’d still like to get a bet on my account, If I contact they’ll probably limit my stakes, its the kind of thing I can imagine them doing considering the strategy of gubbing accounts secretly.
IMO Coral are the best bookie out there at marketing themselves like they are one of the big boys when really in disguise they don’t like to take a lot of action at all. Even compared to their rivals like Paddypower or Skybet they are miles behinds. I have had the worst experiences dealing with them compared to others personally, but that’s just me.

Well you can’t say you’re gubbed or not of you don’t ask.
I’ve had countless freebets not go in on so many different bookies where they get credited once contacted (or occasionally I misread a t&c)

Does indeed look like you’re gubbed. My account is the same, can’t see the offers on the offers page when I login. At first the only indication something was up was when my bets started getting referred to traders, the e-mail followed a while after.

i had the same experience with coral, placed bets on promos and gubbed without notification. Live chat were useless so what i did was to email their chief exec. Explain in your email that you placed bets on promos they were advertising but that you were unaware of being excluded from. Ask that they honour the bets as you like using coral. I got the free bet i was owed and they credited future free bets i should have received. Don’t be abusive in the email, just clearly explain what has happened and what you would like to happen and praise them a bit.

    Hope this helps

Why are ppl afraid to contact the bookies! The live support agents are not traders and couldn’t care less if your matched betting or not and have no authority to report you or impose further restrictions on your account.

You should contact them right away as it’s the only way you will get any clarity.

Right on cue I had an acca freebet not credited. Quick polite query on live chat and an apology and manual adjustment made
