Double b365 Gubbing but have 2 x risk free???

  • Had the ultimate kick in the nads… both me and the mrs both had the gubbing restricted email from b365 after getting on the 8.30am pushes!!
My problem is we both had the winner in the last c4 race and now both have £50 risk free bets on the 1st race tomorrow… the max we can stake is around £10 in total so cant bet the full £50…. anyone else been in a similar position and whats the best way to approach this race??

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

i was , after talking to chat they basically said that whatever i was allowed to bet would be what my refund would be , it varied depending on the horses odds which i chose , the max being just under £8 on the favourite down to about £3 on other horses as there odds got bigger, i decided just to punt it on the favourite and didnt lay it off knowing it was a risk free punt. i got lucky and won , however overall my luck was shite as lost my account.

my advice would be just have a punt as you get ya money returned if ya lose, with 2 shots you might hit lucky .

Yeah will just try to punt as much as i can on 2 different horses!! Gutted because should be £40 each 🙂 but hey ho thats the game we are playing… it cant have helped my account that the £400 i put in to get the £100 bonus turned in to £2k ffs!! Lucky the rollover had finished or would have been up shit creek without a paddle!!

I’m in the same boat, but have been gubbed for a few weeks now. What ever you are allowed to stake on the win you can also get each way, so definitely punt each way.
Alternatively back and lay the win part as a normal lay, and let the each way part run without laying. Guarantee profit that way, if that’s your bag.

”Where you are unable to place the maximum risk free bet amount due to restrictions on your bet, we will credit the difference between the maximum risk free bet returns and your actual returns.”

You have to click the bet max option on desktop betslip. Rather than entering the maximum amount manually.

The stake is restricted based on how much the bet would win you. it’s something around the £50 mark. If there was an evens horse in the race, they’d let you bet £50. If a horse is 6.0, then you’re limited to a tenner.

Supert, out of curiosity, what is meant by the 8.30am pushes

Marv 8.30am b365 push some horse prices out bigger than exchange so not only an arb chance of £50 free on next c4 race… only last around 2-3 mins

Mbpunter i have gone off your advice and done on laptop clicking max bet like advised… got £9.09 ew offered @ 6.5
Lets hope it loses and they refund £50 lolor it wins

Supert, the way i read it is they’ll just refund what you’ve bet, but would pay out as if you had £50 on. So it’s still risk free £50 effectively. Although probably wouldn’t lay as such just incase! Hopefully wins and gets you a nice payout.

Bad times…. 1 account horse was nowhere…. just refunded £14 odd that i bet… other account got a place so made £7 from the £14 odd that i could bet…. lucky my mates account that also got the gubbing same time as mine backed the fav 9.09ew and it won pmsl… out with a bang ha ha!!

MBpunter you’re correct. They credit the extra if it wins (which I find generous, really). But they’ll only refund what you bet of it loses. So just treat as a usual risk free, based on the total risk free amount.

Pavlon, yeah it’s winnings of 50 for me, but whatever they let you stake, you can go each way. Means that if it wins your risk free amount for the next race is double.

Ahh monkey i think i finally get it now… if your horse wins they make up to £50…
the thing is though they let you bet the exact amount max up to £50 winnings so if you have £50 risk free but they only let you get max on £10 @ 6.0… you wouldnt go putting £8 at 6.0???
My horse placed and thought they might make it up to £50 but didnt… i could only get £7ew so wasnt even worth laying!

Yep. Whatever free bet you have qualified for will be made up. I’d qualified for a £25 risk free bet, so backed Barsanti at 6.0 with the max bet option – my max bet was £10. Horse won, so I got my immediate return of £60. Then within half an hour my account was also credited with an extra £75.

Had it have lost, they would have refunded my actual stake, £10.

As it won, I also got risk free for the next race, but only for £10, the amount I was actually able to stake.

The maths are the same though, so to work out your lay, base it on the max risk free amount (£50 in your case).

that certainly didn’t happen to me monkey tennis so I would really be hesitant in advising laying for 50 quid if ya can only get 10 or less on. My horse won I got 32 quid after they restricted me to 4.33 or whatever it was and that was it , they didn’t make nowt up etc etc.

Usual caveats apply of course. Suggest you email them to ask, xeno. I asked whether it was automatically added, they said yes, but to contact them if not. If you’re already restricted there’s nothing to lose by contacting them. My emails were answered the following day.

It’s in the T&Cs for the offer, so they should honour it, and in my experience they have.

As MBPunter said, you need to select the max bet option from desktop, it *may* be that if you manually stake the maximum, it doesn’t register for an automatic credit.

Xeno, what price was the horse you backed if you could only get £4.33 ish on? You should be owed a decent chunk. The bet max was told to me by customer services. But it doesn’t mention that in the terms so definitely worth chasing up and highlighting the terms.
