Well Sky are offering best odds on favourites today apparently but their place terms are 1/5 rather than 1/4 for the extra place race.

with regards to 1/5 rather than 1/4 does that mean we lose money if our horse finished 2nd or 3rd?? so to be carefull

+0am I doing this correct? first time doing this and the 5.10 on bet365 got 11 for Heavens Guest. Layed 38.33 at 11.5 for win and layed 44.73 on the to place market meaning 1 pound profit and risk free skot at 140
+0just made another 2 pound and risk free shot at 115 pounds. Did these on different acocunts but can you do a few horses per account for the same race?

My first go at extra place offers on the 4.15 race and I’ve fallen victim to Rule 4, just want your advice Dan on whether I’ve worked out the adjustment ok.
So I backed and layed £50 e/w on Arthenus at 8. Rule 4 5% deduction means those odds are now 7.65/7.65 or thereabouts. According to the extra place calculator this means the back odds on the place are now 2.6625 and looking at smarkets the lay odds on the place are 2.5 so i’ve layed £53.68 for a guaranteed £1.74 qualifying profit and £134 if he comes 4th or 5th.
Hope I’ve done this right. Will soon find out.
