Extra place offers, easy money today

  • Extra places being offered on the 4:15pm York (5 instead of 4) and the 4:35pm NewMarket (5 instead of 3) by Skkybet. Will be good liquidity on these later too.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Liquidity really poor in general for the 4.35, giving it a miss.

Think I got a rule 4 in the 5.10? I’ve done five horses, four I made money on £1-2 and other I lost £1. Anyone finding it as easy get these results or possible that I’ve messed up to rule 4

Not hitting anything today, no second places, no winners and no extra places. Tough, tough racing as it always going to be today.

It hasnt helped that the liquidity has been poor, on smarkets anyway so i’ve been backing out of a lot of these races as they have been so open.

Only saw this now Chris, hope you got it sorted.
If there wasn’t good liquidity for these races today then I’d say it’s probably not best to use smarkets for the places. Betfair was good for it today.

Made good money on these and then spunked it away by getting greedy asking for a place match a few clicks closer than what it was, race went off and couldn’t get the match in play. Ate a lot of my profits but I’ve learned a lesson for future. Don’t be greedy over an extra few euro because it could cost far more in the end.

I, too, didn’t place many bets today due to lack of value available.

I’ve stayed away from the exchange side of things at Betfair, as I’m not yet gubbed on their sportsbook and didn’t want to bring that inevitable event forwad in time. But, if that’s where the value is, then maybe it’s time to have a look.

As long as you aren’t doing the e/w arbs on betffair’s sportsbook or paddiepower then you’d be okay

Afraid as Patrick tried to tell us matchbetting is dying/dead.
At least he seems to be not glotting any more.
10 channel 4 races today and still very hard to make it pay.

Didn’t have too bad a day today Frankie came home twice for me in B365 and I was already carrying forward a free risk free bet into today from yesterday and ended up carrying another forward into the next C4 live race. Had a fifth place also which worked out very well as I thought he was forth for awhile there. Had Serena Williams on price boost for 2-0 at Paddies and it came home again as it did yesterday for Murray but that was just straight betting not MBing. Then had £19 win on the slots over at BV trying to qualify for a £5 free bet. And basically just to unwind at the end played £10 on a random slot on sky and won £100. I think it ended up close to my best day ever here. I find all the offers hard work though as you can’t get them to match too closely so end up taking a wack of Qual losses just to try and hit home a few times but luckily it paid off today.

Jeez im fed up of people saying matched betting is dead, like broken records.

If matched betting is dead, I have no idea how I’ve made over £1100 since the start of Euro 2016.

Its the difficulty in keeping any accounts open that’s the real problem.

Touche to that and it depends on what accounts you do manage to keep open. I’ve still got Bet365 which is the big earner but other than that, I’ve survived on just Betstars, Betfred, betsafe, bwin, unibet and 188bet for the last month or so.

Its more about finding the offers too, Matt doesnt blog half of them and not many are posted on this forum either.

Sounds like Matt is even losing interest.
As I said on another post I lost both mine and my wifes accounts at Betsafe and William Hill with over £650 of funds confiscated.
Was even threatened with legal action against us by William Hill when I tried to complain.
We were not really matchbetters just took advantage of their offers.
Found this site when I was looking for advice what to do.

Good going that pal on just those bookies. What kind of return are you getting out of bet365?
