Going out soon so done all my Bet365 lays, a couple of places have drifted but managed to get £127 guaranteed which is much better than in previous years.

Got quite a lot of shots at 5/6 place, big money if Chase the Spud, Carlingford or Shantou Flyer come 5th and/or Carlingford, Milansbar or Final Nudge get 6th. Couple of hundred if others hit the extra places. Never won on extra place in the National though so not getting my hopes up.

Yeah it’s a very weird market on smarkets. I got a few place arbs last night on a few outsiders, took 38.5/21 on a few, 17.5/13 on others thinking they were good value. They have now shortened to 38.5/16 and 17.5/9 while other horses with shorter win odds have had their place drift out!

Only taken the £125 guarenteed from the the bet365 GN, 9 long shots underlayed with big win and place arbs for top 4, then a couple of extra place shots just waiting on the lay odds now

I’ve placed my bets with B365 and have layed the win part off on smarkets. Should i continue with laying the place part on smarkets or just let it run.

well when did you place bets was it after midday?? if so you have to lay coz you wont get any refund

Yeah, i didn’t realise it was up to 11:59. So i back my horses with b365, and then layed the win bit on smarkets but i haven’t layed the e/w part yet on smarkets. Wondering would it be better to let the lay part of smarkets just run or should i lay the place part.

ok i’ll lay the e/w part and hope i might hit a 5th place. From what could have been a profitable bet has turn in to a bit of a disaster.
