Gubbed by betfair

  • So got the dreaded email today from betfair, presumably the correct score offer for England Holland killed my account, I am gubbed by paddy as well so could be to do with that.

    What’s the best way to get a second account going? Can I set up an account under my parents name or would I need to use a friend?

  • New to matched betting?

    My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    If your setting up an account under someone else’s name you need to be aware that you are defrauding the bookie and they are within their rights to cancel your account and keep your balance ……

    You should be very careful to use a separate device for betting a separate wifi or a 4G connection etc.

    I don’t know what difference it would make using your friends name or using your parents? I suppose it would help if you had a different address.

    If you use someone else’s identity you’ll need:

    * a HD copy of their utility bill in their name with their address (with all the edges of the bill)
    * a HD copy of their passport/ID front and back (with all the edges of the passport/ID)
    * a Skrill account
    * a HD screenshot of your Skrill account stating his/her address/phone number/e-mail
    * an e-mail address
    * an IP address, i.e. 4g connection (mobile, usb dongle), public wifi etc.
    * a different computer or a virtual machine (like VMware Fusion)
    * a 4g phone (preferably)
    * a phone number (preferably)
    * a bank account (preferably)

    It’s good to buy a real phone for the IP address and phone number. You can use it when you connect to Internet and also if the bookies’ customer service call you (not often). It’s smarter to use a person’s identity which has the same gender as yourself if the customer service decides to call you.

    If you use a virtual machine like VMware Fusion you can just connect the phone to the computer and you’ll have a unique MAC address with a unique IP address in matter of a click. Never use the virtual machine for anything else than match betting! Never use the phone’s 4g connection for anything else either! The virtual machine and the phone now belongs together. Always wipe out your cookies and use browser extensions like Ghostery and uBlock to avoid being tracked. Be paranoid.

    It’s also nice (but not necessary) for the person to set up a currency account in the currency your bookies’ accounts have, so that all of your accounts are in the same currency like GBP/EUR/USD. The most common is EUR. This cuts the currency fees and also makes your identity fraud more liable. Some of the bookies’ bonus offers are also just meant for bank cards so that’s also a reason.

    As above, however don’t think you necessarily need a skrill account. I opened accounts in my girlfriends name and just got her to set up a new bank account and gave me the card, so I can just transfer my own money into there and then deposit it into the bookies. Obviously different address. I also went out and bought a Samsung tablet with 4g sim contract to do the bets on, paid for itself multiple times over so yeah!

    Is that a serious question? You are NOT allowed duplicate accounts. You will be caught straight away as soon as you try deposit with a card that is linked to another account….pretty basic stuff!

    Aye, sign up using the same computer, call yourself Dad with their address then deposit using the same card that is registered under your name and address. Sounds like a plan.

    Brilliant post. If anybody’s thinking about reloading with other accounts, you should take this post as gospel. Having £1000 win into the bookies, then having your money confiscated as you raise multi-accounting flags is not something you ever want happening, and is the kind of shit which gets people chasing losses.

    I would also add that if you’re running multiple accounts at once, you also want to pay attention to your betting patterns. If 2 accounts are betting on the same events/offers/times every day for a week, then it’s bye-bye to your accounts.

    You don’t need to multi account. So you lost betfair? And paddy?

    Paddy don’t have great offers any more and you can do them in shop anyway.

    Betfair are poor on offers.

    Multi accounting for me is a very very last resort and it’s the line between beating the bookie fair and square and just cheating!

    I say if you are in a safe position to do so and not having to risk same address and all that. If you can easily get another account safely with having someone you trust with a different address etc than imo its double money go for it!
