Gubbings

  • Hi everyone

Been matched betting for a couple of months and made a nice few hundred quid out of it, thanks. Started to get a few gubbings though. One bookie threw offer after offer which I took and then gubbed me. With a couple I placed my trigger bet then my free bets and then got instantly gubbed. With one bookie I tried to carefully manage the account including mug bets and I was down with this bookie, but still got gubbed.

Interestingly, a couple instantly gubbed/suspended my account as soon I opened them, even before I could deposit any money…IESnare???? If IESnare is at work why hasn’t every bookie gubbed every matched bettor???? Doesn’t deleting IESnare ring even more alarm bells with them????

Having read around the topic of gubbings I’ve even seen it suggested that simply changing the odds from fractional to decimal will get you gubbed.

I reckon that unless you are consistently losing big money at a bookie ultimately you will get gubbed.

It was good whilst it lasted!

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    Hi @the-big-j,

You may find the following forum thread useful regarding IE Snare…

IE Snare was a big topic of conversation a few years back but I’ve not heard much about it since.

I think everyone has their own ideas regarding gubbings. It’s inevitable that you’ll lose a few accounts along the way, just try and mix things up as a much as possible and keep the bookies guessing.
