New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yes, this is fine (assuming your stake is correct for the AH +0.5).
+0Thanks Mark. The stake for the away is £50
+0Please can a helpful soul clear something up for me?
Is ‘Man U – 1’ exactly the same thing in both the “Team A + 1” market and the “Asian Handicap” market on Betfair? I ask as the odds seem to differ widely on some selections. TIA
+0…and depending on confirmation of the above I may have a nice wee arb to share 😉
+0It’s not Tony, and the Example you gave on Villa on Sunday wasn’t right either, presumming you’re talking about Euro handicaps here of course?
The euro handicap taking into account a draw, in which case a bet can lose. The Asian handicap eliminates the draw with 0.5
+0They’re not the same markets. AH -1 is different to the Team -1 market. Exactly as Dan has said… AH -1.5 is the same at Team -1 for clarity.
+0Thanks fellas – I understand now. The deal I saw is still an arb, but not quite as profitable as I thought, haha! 🙂
@Dan87 – don’t think I directed anyone to use Asian Handicap in my Villa thread? In fact quite the opposite, I said that using the “Villa +1” market was as valid a tactic as using Asian Handicap. Happy to be corrected, but I feel the need to point this out as I purposely take care to make sure what I post is correct after once posting a misleading thread (that I corrected nearly instantly).+0Get regular offer updates, tip and tricks, big offer alerts and more straight to your inbox.
