Horse Racing (3rd March)

Will hill – money back 2nd to Sp in Ludlow and Chelmsford.
Bet365 4/1+ for Southwell 4:00 and Chelmsford 9:10.
Coral 3/1+ free bets for winner in Meydan.
The 1:55 in Ludlow and 8:40 in Chelmsford on will hill probably best chance at free bet.
Not many at Meydan likely to deliver the free bet but would look at the 5:55 with Famous Kid.
The 4:00 in Southwell for bet365 looks like a couple of horses at 4/1 will fight it out for a free bet – exchanges not good enough yet so check nearer 4.
Does sky usually have a second chance race today? Bet 10 get 10 free on the same race. Worth checking later.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

cheers chris yeah nice win!shame i overlayed to compensate the qualifying loss but still happy!im new to this offer but i believe i have to use the bet on the next feature race which is tonight at 9:10 is that correct?what is the best method to use the free bet?
thank you
+0yeah fog i went for your choice!i got 6 6/4. 1st time iv done this offer to be honest
+0I was browsing on Bet365 last night and both Tatting and Claude Greenwood had close lay odds. Needless to say I went for Claude Greenwood :(
+0Well Tatting made up for my quali losses today. Happy with that, now hoping Sudden Wish continues its drop in odds before laying off (then wins!)
+0Yes its a risk free bet on the 9:10. You have to bet from your own funds but they refund it if you lose.
You can go on calculator JDUBU.
Take the Risk Free Bet radio button at the top.
Then put in 50 for stake and 50 for cash back.
Fill in the Lay and Back.
Dynamo 5.5/6.6 and Little Flo at 10/12 give you guaranteed £33+ profit. Hopefully the odds tighten closer to 9pm so that you can get closer to 80% extraction and closer to £40 profit.
Its worth going for a horse with a decent chance of winning because if he wins then you get another risk free bet on the first feature 4/1+ race tomorrow.
+0cheers fog appreciate the help and thank you for the tip for the winner!

thanks for the info FoG, my first win on this offer also, I would have probably overlayed this and mucked it up….gone for Dynamo
+0Not sure if they are worth doing to be honest. You have to weigh up your qualifying losses against your chances of winning a free bet …. for these I think you also have to factor in the time element – you could research 3 or 4 races and follow the odds like a hawk for 30 minutes and not get a suitable match at all on the horse you want – so it takes time to find the qualifying bets.
If you get cheap qualifying losses like less than £1 then I suppose you wont go far wrong on any offer.
Everyone has their opinion on what’s worth it for them.
+0Ahhh I see thanks for the heads up. I’ll give it a go and see what happens.
Cheers FOG
+0Fortune favours the brave, got a 4/a winner. Nice 40 profit coming around 9pm tonight from that.
+0On the follow up race do you have to lay the risk free bet or would you be better on puntin it and just getting the stake back if it loses?
+0I’ve made a few hundred on these 4/1+ offers. It’s best on Saturdays when the lay liquidity is good, but quite often I find there’s a horse the night before whose lay is lower than the back. If qualifying loss is low, then also worth looking at overlaying to zero it completely (as JDUBU’s done here). This can be particularly profitable with BOG.
+0summer music at 7/6.6 WH chelmsford 6:40
+0Quick question and I think I know the answer, Sudden Wish has increased rather than the hope of a decrease. If I cash out and rebet on Dynamo/Lorelei would this void the risk free bet?
