How many bookmaker accounts

  • How many bookmaker accounts do you need to make Match betting profitable?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

wow thanks Mr Crispy for your very precise answer. Maybe you can expand it a bit for instance how many accounts do you have.

The more the merrier is the simple answer to the simple ?

If for e.g 1 account makes a tenner a week- then having for e.g 10 accounts makes 10xtenners=£100 PW

Of course each company has varying oppurtunites for making bonus profits and the tactics/time used to maximise these is hard to calculate.

Suffice to say the obvious answer reamains the more the merrier- and the original answer of 1 is of course correct.

OK thanks still think you need more than one. one to bet and one to lay but i’ll leave there.

Oh right man. You do need at least two! Original answer fom Mr C was wrong! Need at least one exchange account as well as bookie account/s. Recommened is smarkets who only charge 2% in commision as opposed to the more popular/higher liquity platform on Betfair exchange who charge a too high 5%- Matchbook is one ive never used with very low commisions but from what I hear liquity is minimal.
I have both sm and bf exchange accounts- but only use BF when liquity is poor on Smarkets.
Join both and compare prices when you are laying.

Bit of a late reply but I would say you need to open accounts with the following when you first start.

Betfair and Smarkets as exchanges, then:

    William Hill
    Bet 365
    Skybet
    Coral
    Ladbrokes
    Paddy Power
    Betfred

These are the ones I’ve found to have the most consistent offers. They also all have half decent sign up offers. You can dine quite well off just these 7

After that I would just join new bookies as and when your float allows you to or you see a specific offer from them you like.

Yep good shout. I would add:

    Bet Victor
    188bet
    888
    Bet Stars
    Boylesports
    Unibet
    Tote
    10bet

As the next solid and reliable ones with decent offers/odds/sign ups

Thanks. That’s what I was looking for.

With so many it’s difficult to know who to start with and if you try to use everyone my stake money would be spread so thin as to be useless.
